Seria let out a soft, amused huff, clearly aware of his staring but not displeased by it.
As they neared the meeting point, Gray gently spoke to her.
"Seria, I need to hide you for now. There's someone waiting for me, and I'd rather keep you away from unnecessary eyes for the time being. Is that alright?"
Seria tilted her small head, then nodded gracefully.
"I understand. I prefer it that way. Only you and Jasmine may see me for now."
With a soft flash of white light, Seria shrank even further and disappeared into Gray's bonded beast space, joining Atrinae. The little snake hissed happily at the new company.
Gray continued walking until he reached the ruined outskirts of the manor.
Aurora was waiting exactly where he expected, leaning against a broken pillar with her arms crossed. The moment she saw him, her red eyes lit up with excitement and relief.
"Gray!" she called out, running toward him.
