Qian Renxue's divine armour continuously shifted between gold, violet, and rainbow hues.
Her lips curved slightly.
"The Rakshasa authority and the Angel authority are fundamentally opposite. Understanding one law does not mean the other becomes easier to comprehend."
"Direct comprehension and borrowed insight are two entirely different things."
Behind her, the newly formed eighth divine ring of her Rakshasa Godhead rotated slowly.
At this moment, she carefully inspected the divine skill she had just obtained.
Her eyes narrowed with satisfaction.
"Gaze of Sin…"
Gaze of Sin
Sin Burning — Any existence tainted by the Seven Sins will experience soul-level burning which then supplements her own power. The severity depends entirely upon the sins they have committed throughout their life. This ability directly targets the soul and cannot be blocked through ordinary physical defenses.
Sin Injury — By selecting a specific sin, the inflicted damage increases according to how deeply the target is connected to that sin.The more guilty the target, the stronger the injury becomes.
Qian Renxue quietly contemplated the authority.
This was no ordinary divine ability. Against beings with impure hearts, the effectiveness of this authority would become terrifyingly absolute.
Her expression became thoughtful.
"Asura… your reaction earlier was quite interesting."
She had clearly sensed the panic within the Asura God's divine intent when Bibi Dong stepped into enlightenment.
A while later her eyes slowly turned toward the ancient book artifact Angela had left behind upon the broken wall.
The artifact looked unremarkable from afar.
Yet the closer one looked, the stranger it became. However the heavy Earthly and draconic aura it released signified how powerful its raw material was.
Its cover appeared to constantly shift between different materials. Sometimes it resembled pure white paper. Sometimes black scales. Sometimes flesh covered in faintly blinking runes.
Even the surrounding space seemed subtly distorted around it.
Qian Renxue stared at it for several seconds.
Then—
Pop.
The next instant she appeared directly beside the book.
She gently picked up the artifact.Qian Renxue tilted her head slightly.
"Well… what should I name you?"
A faint smile appeared on her face.
Then—
Holding the mysterious book in her hand, Qian Renxue's figure shattered into countless illusory bubbles before disappearing from the Angel Temple entirely.

Boom! Boom!
Even after fleeing far from the ancestral lands of the Clear Sky Clan, Tang Hao and Tang San could still hear the constant explosions reverberating through the mountain ranges behind them.
Each detonation shook the earth beneath their feet. The battle was still ongoing.
And from the intensity of those aftershocks alone, both father and son could tell that the clash had long surpassed the level of mortals. Entire peaks were likely being flattened with every exchange.
Tang Hao's expression grew grave as he abruptly stopped and turned toward a patch of dense shrubs nearby.
His instincts as a veteran Title Douluo had already sensed two unfamiliar presences approaching.
Almost at the same instant, Tang San's eyes narrowed sharply.
Without hesitation, he raised the Zhuge Godly Crossbow in his hand and aimed directly toward the same direction.
"Who's there?"
His voice was cold and vigilant.
"Come out. I've already sensed you."
The shrubs rustled softly.
A moment later, two figures slowly stepped out into the clearing.
The moment Tang San saw them, the coldness on his face melted into surprise.
"Oscar? Rongrong?"
The two figures were precisely Oscar and Ning Rongrong.
Compared to the youthful appearances Tang San remembered, both had changed considerably over the past years.
Oscar had grown taller and broader, his once somewhat lazy expression now carrying a maturity that came only after countless battles and harsh training. His sharp eyes held a calm confidence that had not existed before.
Ning Rongrong had become even more breathtakingly beautiful than before. Her once playful and spoiled temperament had faded, now her face seemed like a melancholic young heiress of the Nine Treasure Glazed Tile Clan.
Yet when her eyes met Tang San's, the familiar warmth within them remained unchanged.
Oscar stared at Tang San for a moment before exclaiming in disbelief,
"Third Brother, your appearance has changed way too much!"
Tang San smiled faintly.
His features had indeed undergone considerable transformation after his Blue Silver Grass evolved into the Blue Silver Prince. His sharper facial contours and deeper aura made him seem like a completely different person from the Tang San Oscar once knew.
"It's because my martial soul evolved."
Tang San lowered his crossbow completely and stepped forward. The tension in the clearing eased immediately.
Ning Rongrong smiled and summoned her martial soul.
A dazzling Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda floated above her palm, radiating multicolored brilliance.
Five perfectly matched soul rings rose one after another behind her.
Yellow. Yellow. Purple. Purple. Black. Her chin lifted proudly as she announced,
"I'm already level 56 now. A Soul King."
Though her voice sounded composed, the faint sparkle in her eyes clearly showed she was waiting for Tang San's praise.
Tang San's brows rose in genuine surprise.
Before he could respond, Oscar chuckled and casually released his own soul rings.
Six soul rings rose behind him.
Yellow. Yellow. Purple. Purple. Black. Black.
The aura of a Soul Emperor spread from his body.
"Well," he said with a grin, scratching his nose, "I'm level 64 now."
Tang San stared blankly for a moment before laughing.
"Oscar… you reached the level of Soul Emperor."
Oscar puffed out his chest proudly.
"What can I say? Food-system spirit masters rise later, but once we rise, we're unstoppable."
Ning Rongrong immediately rolled her eyes and kicked him lightly.
"Stop showing off."
Oscar laughed awkwardly. The familiar interaction instantly brought back memories of their time in Shrek Academy.
For a brief moment, the suffocating pressure hanging over Tang San's heart seemed to lessen.
