The Silent King seemed to have finally abandoned any thought of fleeing, turning instead to wrestle against Roya's net of spiritual perception.
At the same time, the three Star God entities that had previously been struck by the Blessing of Life had already been grotesquely transformed by flesh and blood.
Their main torsos were now completely wrapped in newborn flesh, with distinct muscle fibers and veins beneath a thin, transparent membrane. They looked sticky, slick, and utterly repulsive.
The reason for this hideous state was that within the bio-metal forming these three Star God entities, vast amounts of dark-green psychic energy were concentrated.
This psychic energy, originally belonging to the Silent King, instinctively clashed against Roya's Blessing of Life, desperately defending every single bio-metal molecule that had not yet been converted.
But compared to the Blessing of Life—which drew ceaseless replenishment from the Warp—this dark-green psychic power was water without a source, and could not last.
More wondrous still, as the green energy was consumed, the Star Gods' suppressed spirits rapidly began to revive!
At this moment, the consumption of that energy finally crossed a critical threshold. The three Star Gods at last broke free from their shackles!
The half-man Roc was the first to recover, beating his wings to dispel the deathly glow around him, and laughed wildly:
"Hahaha! Silent brat! No matter how you schemed, you never imagined that we secretly shared with Roya the Star Gods' greatest treasure—the Astral Projection Map of the Warp!"
The half-man Mammoth revived as well, joining in the laughter:
"Bad luck for you! Even we never thought that when that kid Roya explored our deliberately marked high-value sites for the third time, he'd stumble directly onto the method to counter you!"
The half-man Lion let out a triumphant roar:
"Enough talk with these crawling insects! Let's leave, devour a few planets, and make up for all these years of hunger first!"
As they spoke, the three Star God spirits stirred to depart this barren starfield, seeking planets with spiritual life to feast upon.
Roya was forced to pause his strangling of the Silent King, diverting part of his perception to intercept them.
If allowed to escape, the three would inevitably devour countless spirits.
These beings, drifting between the Warp and the material world, clearly regarded mortal lives as meaningless. To them, every spirit was nothing more than food.
But at that critical moment, the dark-green psychic energy collapsed!
The Silent King's refining and suppressive grip upon it suddenly lost all effect, and the three entities reverted to their truest form—the collective will of the Fearless Ones.
And in the very core of that will, aside from their hatred for the Silent King's deception, burned only one other instinct: their loathing of the Star Gods!
The aura of the three Star Gods instantly ignited this will. Though the remaining strength of the Fearless Ones was less than a single nail's worth compared to a Star God, their boundless hatred drove them to hurl themselves against their most detested enemies.
Even if it meant annihilation, they would sink their teeth in first!
Roya's mind flashed with inspiration—he shifted his spiritual control, no longer weaving defenses, but instead channeling power into this collective will!
Lacking energy? Then I will provide it to you endlessly!
Revel in your vengeance, O Fearless Ones!
Simply infusing energy drained far less focus than maintaining elaborate defenses.
The three Star Gods, on the verge of leaving, suddenly realized with horror that they could not withdraw the spiritual fragments the Silent King had forcibly linked into their bio-metal forms!
Those fragments—nearly extinguished moments ago—were now replenished and empowered by Warp energy, reforging their bonds!
If the Star Gods tried to cut their losses, they would risk catastrophic, irreparable wounds—already weakened as they were, they could not afford such damage.
But that brief hesitation was all it took.
The three bio-metal entities, now wholly wrapped in flesh, were gnawing along those links toward the Star Gods' very spirits—using a method the Star Gods could not even comprehend!
The three mighty beings, like strips of dried meat shoved into a beast's maw, were helplessly devoured alive by their own vessels.
And worst of all—their devoured forms were not even in control!
What they had thought a miraculous reversal had turned instead into ruin—they had become nothing but energy sources for the three monstrous husks!
From the blood-drenched surfaces of these new bodies, countless human faces sprouted. Each face once belonged to a citizen of the Fearless Dynasty—once blind believers of the Silent King and the lies spun together with the Star Gods.
But now, they were awake.
The fire of vengeance burned in every gaze!
Unnumbered furious eyes turned as one toward the struggling green sphere trapped within Roya's net.
The Silent King felt everything through his psychic senses, and panic consumed him.
He now understood fully: Roya had prepared meticulously for this final battle. This single Blessing of Life—utterly beyond his comprehension—left him powerless as a space-borne deathly shade.
Every ability, every response—completely countered!
"The Holy King foresaw long ago that someone might one day deduce a means to restrain me! That is why I planted countless psychic seeds throughout the galaxy!"
"Even if you utterly annihilate this spirit and this body, those seeds will awaken on their own. Soon, I shall rise again!"
The Silent King's shrieks were accompanied by a blazing surge of green necrotic light from his sphere.
At the same time, the death-dragon still resisting its transformation unleashed beams of deathly radiance from its eyes—each more than ten feet long—before violently self-detonating!
From its body erupted countless spirits of wrath, a tidal wave of hatred crashing in all directions.
If left to wander, innumerable of these hateful wraiths would, before dissipating, find hosts to infest.
The infested spirits would at best be twisted beyond recognition, at worst completely possessed.
Roya could not allow such a calamity. He immediately drew upon the golden essence of his spirit's core, pouring it forth at full speed to purify the hateful tide.
