The Namekian Dragon Balls were over twenty times larger than the Earth's Dragon Balls.
A single Earth Dragon Ball could fit in one hand, but the Namekian ones required both arms just to lift — their weight dozens of times heavier, solid and dense like miniature suns.
"These are the Dragon Balls of Planet Namek. Since you already know how the Earth's work, I trust you know how to use them."
The Grand Elder spoke slowly, his voice calm yet resonant. "Please, gather the Dragon Balls and restore the land to its original state."
After seeing Naruto nod in understanding, the Grand Elder continued,
"I do not know how I could ever thank you. If you have any wish you desire, the Dragon Balls can grant it as well."
"Our Namekian Dragon differs from the one on Earth — it can grant three wishes."
Then, after a brief pause, the Grand Elder offered a final piece of wisdom:
"However, remember this — the Dragon Balls are not omnipotent. Their power cannot surpass that of their creator — that is, me. Do not rely too heavily on them, and never abuse their power."
"Only strength gained by one's own effort is the true path."
The Grand Elder actually had something else he could offer Naruto — the ability to awaken his latent potential.
In the Dragon Ball universe, there were three beings or methods capable of unlocking potential:
1. The Super Holy Water,
2. The Grand Elder of Namek,
3. And the Old Kai.
Among the three, the Super Holy Water was the most painful, the Old Kai's method the most tedious, and the Grand Elder's the simplest.
Yet, the Grand Elder did not bring it up — and Naruto didn't ask.
It wasn't that Naruto didn't want the Grand Elder's help. He simply believed the time wasn't right.
In his own words:
"Until I reach the point where training alone can no longer push me forward — when I hit a real wall — I won't have my potential unlocked."
That way, when he finally did, the effect would be maximized.
He wasn't a Saiyan, after all. To keep up with the Dragon Ball warriors, Naruto had to make the most out of every resource he had.
Collecting the Dragon Balls was a simple matter — just traveling across several Namekian villages.
Thanks to the Grand Elder's orders and the fact that Puru was accompanying him, the process went smoothly.
It didn't take long before they had gathered all seven.
"Let me handle this," Puru suggested. "Summoning the Dragon requires the Namekian language."
Naruto shook his head.
"No need. I can do it."
"After spending so much time with you all, I've picked up quite a bit of the Namekian tongue myself."
"As expected of you, Naruto," Puru said admiringly.
Naruto raised his voice to the heavens.
"Come forth — Dragon!"
In an instant, the entire planet's sky turned pitch black.
A massive column of light shot upward, and from it emerged a being so colossal that Naruto's breath caught in his throat.
A Dragon — thousands of meters long — filled the horizon. Its presence radiated an overwhelming divine might.
Compared to it, the Earth's Shenron seemed like an unhatched larva.
"Summoner," the Dragon's voice rumbled across the atmosphere, "speak your wishes. Whatever they are, I can grant them—"
"—but only three."
Perhaps they were siblings born of the same cosmic source — the Namekian Dragon's speech was nearly identical to that of Earth's Shenron.
But in form, they could not have been more different.
The Namekian Dragon resembled a mighty genie from an ancient legend — majestic, luminous, and powerful.
This Dragon had a name: Porunga.
In the Namekian tongue, it meant "God of Dreams."
Naruto stepped forward.
"For the first wish — can you restore the land that was destroyed by the Tree of Might? Return it to how it once was."
Porunga's eyes glowed bright red.
"That is simple," he said after a pause.
With that, a crimson flash illuminated the heavens — and the devastated surface of Namek began to heal.
Cracked plains reformed, rivers flowed again, forests reappeared as if reborn.
If the damage had been caused by the Namekians themselves, Porunga's power would not have been able to undo it.
But since it had been the result of external destruction, the Dragon could act.
It was much like how he could not resurrect someone who had died naturally of old age —
but if a person had been killed by another, he could restore their life.
Naruto began to suspect that the Dragon's power worked along the lines of cause and effect.
That was why Porunga could heal what the Tree of Might had destroyed, but not what had been ruined through Namekian overuse of the planet's resources.
"Your first wish has been granted," Porunga intoned.
"Now, speak your remaining two."
Puru nodded at Naruto, prompting him to step forward again.
"Dragon, can you make me the strongest warrior in the universe?"
Porunga fell silent for a moment, then replied slowly:
"I am sorry. That wish lies beyond my power."
Naruto frowned slightly.
"Then I wish—"
"I am sorry," Porunga interrupted again, "that wish too exceeds my capability."
Naruto went on to repeat the same wishes he had once asked of Earth's Shenron, each time met with the same answer.
He sighed.
"So the Grand Elder was right — even the Dragons of this world have their limits. Neither is omnipotent."
Still, Naruto wasn't ready to give up.
"Then tell me, Dragon — is there a planet called Cyril in this universe? Does it have a Dragon that can be summoned with just two Dragon Balls?"
Naruto's persistence came from a single concern —
that after years of training, someone else could just wish to surpass him with a single command.
To him, a "Universe's Strongest Warrior" obtained through a wish would cheapen the title.
Porunga shook his head.
"I am sorry. I have never heard of such a planet, nor of any Dragon that can be summoned with only two Dragon Balls. All Dragons must obey the sacred number: seven."
"Please, state your wish. If you have none, I shall depart."
Hearing that, Naruto actually felt a sense of relief.
As an older, more ancient Dragon than Earth's Shenron, Porunga's knowledge surely reached farther.
If he said there was no such planet — then there wasn't.
Naruto nodded thoughtfully.
"Then… can you resurrect the being sealed within me?"
He was referring, of course, to Kakarot, whose essence lingered inside his body.
Porunga's voice grew somber.
"I am sorry. That too is beyond my ability."
The mighty Dragon almost seemed to sweat, as if embarrassed — so many wishes denied in succession was awkward even for a divine being.
Naruto pondered for a while, then finally voiced the wish he had originally planned.
"Then — can you perfectly awaken the hidden power of my bloodline?
Without any side effects, and without altering my appearance."
Naruto's body contained an immense number of cells — over three times that of an average human.
That alone allowed him to train three times faster than others.
But his Sage Body wasn't perfect, just like how the Nine-Tails inside him was only half of its full self.
If he could completely awaken his dormant bloodline, his strength would soar exponentially.
Porunga fell silent again — this time longer than before.
The Grand Elder, Puru, and even Naruto himself waited in absolute stillness.
At last, the Dragon spoke.
"This is… difficult. I can do it," Porunga said slowly, "but this wish exceeds the scope of a single request.
It will require two of your wishes to fulfill.
Do you accept this?"
"...Two wishes?" Naruto was taken aback.
"A single wish isn't enough?"
He recalled that in the Dragon Ball world, the only time two wishes were needed was when Krillin had been revived:
one wish to summon his soul back to Earth, another to restore his body.
"So it's like that, huh…" Naruto muttered.
He had no other wishes in mind anyway, so he nodded firmly.
"I accept."
"Very well," Porunga's deep voice echoed. "Your wish is simple."
Naruto blinked.
"...Wasn't it difficult just a second ago?" he thought, dumbfounded.
"Do all Dragons have to act cool like this?"
Before he could dwell on it further, his entire body was enveloped in radiant white light.
In that instant, he felt a rush of power — limitless, unstoppable.
His body burned with searing heat, as though he stood within an erupting volcano. Every cell felt as if it were melting.
His muscles swelled like an inflating balloon, his hair shooting toward the sky — a figure of raw, overwhelming might.
Then, cold.
A chill sharper than death itself. It felt as though he had been plunged into absolute zero, his soul frozen solid.
His swollen muscles deflated, and all of his chakra and ki converged into his eyes.
When he opened them, even the heavens seemed to hold their breath.
Puru, standing nearby, accidentally met his gaze — and instantly felt his very soul being drawn into a spiraling vortex.
Had it lasted even a second longer, the warrior, whose power level reached 8000, would have lost himself completely.
The alternating surges of burning heat and freezing cold continued — Naruto's body growing, shrinking, growing again — until finally, both forces merged into one.
And when it was over, he stood unchanged in form, but utterly transformed in essence.
"Your wish has been granted," Porunga declared. "Until next time."
With that, the Dragon's massive body split into seven streaks of light that shot off into the sky, vanishing in all directions.
Naruto couldn't help but think,
"...Why does it look like he's running away?"
Naruto soon turned his focus back to himself.
He slowly raised his hands, staring at them in disbelief.
"This… this power…" he murmured. "It's incredible."
He could feel it — strength coursing through every fiber of his being. His entire body overflowed with energy, alive with a vigor he'd never experienced before.
For the first time, he truly felt limitless.
Even if Frieza were to stand before him now, he felt he could fight him head-on.
Well… at least Frieza's first form, Naruto thought to himself — whether he could actually win was another question entirely.
But those were just feelings — the truth was subtler.
Porunga hadn't increased Naruto's battle power directly. The Dragon had simply unlocked what already lay dormant within him — the purest essence of the Ōtsutsuki bloodline.
What Naruto could achieve from that point onward depended entirely on his own effort and understanding.
Still, it wasn't as though he had gained nothing.
Even though his power level hadn't immediately skyrocketed, what he had received was arguably far greater — something that surpassed a mere boost in strength.
Through Porunga's awakening, the purity of his lineage now surpassed even that of the mighty Ōtsutsuki Isshiki and Momoshiki, reaching levels close to the primordial origin of the clan itself.
Theoretically, Naruto now possessed the potential to wield any technique he had ever seen or learned of —
Ninjutsu, Dōjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kinjutsu, and even Bloodline Limits or Bloodline Combinations.
It wasn't an increase in strength — it was something beyond that.
The foundation for limitless growth.
"Amazing," came Kakarot's voice from within him, awe echoing in every word.
"Naruto, I can feel it — that power inside you… it's like the feeling I get when I transform into a Super Saiyan!"
Even Kurama couldn't help but speak up, his deep rumble tinged with astonishment.
"Your strength, and that aura you're radiating… they're beyond even the Sage of Six Paths himself."
"And those eyes of yours — they're stronger than his ever were."
For just a fleeting instant earlier, Kurama had caught a glimpse of Naruto's transformed eyes — and what he saw had shaken even him to the core.
"You all right, Naruto?"
Puru finally dared to speak, sensing that Naruto's energy had stabilized.
Even so, he kept his eyes shut tight — afraid that one more glance might pull his soul into that same spiraling abyss again.
Naruto smiled faintly.
"I'm fine. Thanks for worrying. I've never felt better in my life."
His aura, once blazing, had now settled back to its usual calm — his energy reading hovering around five hundred.
But the stillness was deceptive; anyone could feel that the quality of his power had changed completely.
Naruto turned toward Puru with renewed excitement.
"Come on, Puru," he said with a grin. "Let's do what we used to do — let's have a real fight."
Puru hesitated for the first time, his expression thoughtful.
Then, slowly, he said:
"No… this time, I think we should call Nail to join us as well."
Meanwhile, on Earth…
While Naruto was testing his newfound power on Planet Namek, Earth was facing a catastrophe unlike any before.
Several strange beings — self-proclaimed members of the Demon Clan — had appeared, attacking martial artists across the world.
Their movements were systematic, driving them ever closer toward the Korin Sanctuary.
At their head was a short, sinister figure who called himself Garlic Jr. II.
He had returned from the Demon Realm — from Hell itself — with two purposes in mind:
1. To use the Dragon Balls to gain eternal life.
2. To avenge his father, Garlic Sr., and reclaim the position of Earth's God that his father had once lost.
Unfortunately for him, fate had other plans.
When Garlic Jr. II arrived at the Heavenly Temple, he found himself face-to-face with Tien Shinhan and the others, who were training there at the time.
Their power levels had already surpassed 800, while Garlic Jr. II himself — despite his boasts — could barely handle an opponent with a power level of 400.
The result was… predictable.
The self-proclaimed Demon King was utterly crushed — beaten so thoroughly that he barely had time to scream.
A pitiful end for a so-called ruler of darkness.
Two Years Later…
Time flowed swiftly.
Two years had passed since Naruto's encounter with Porunga.
On Planet Namek, several green figures blurred through the air at speeds faster than the eye could follow, their movements leaving rippling shockwaves through the atmosphere.
They surrounded a single golden figure, darting in from every direction.
Each collision of fists and energy created explosions of sound that shook the air itself.
The resulting shockwaves rippled outward, distorting the very fabric of space — as though reality itself might be torn apart at any moment.
"Haaaah!"
With a roar, the golden figure thrust both hands outward.
An enormous surge of energy erupted from him, halting every attacker in midair as if frozen in time.
The surrounding Namekians hung motionless, each trapped within shimmering spherical barriers of condensed energy —
floating helplessly, suspended like bubbles in the sky.
"Wind Release: Air Prison Technique!"
The golden figure stood with two fingers raised before his lips — the stance of a shinobi performing a sealing jutsu.
His calm voice cut through the fading echoes of battle.
The fight was over.
