What entered his sight was a colossal stone gate, upon which the four characters "Blood Blade Gate" were written in wild dragon-and-phoenix calligraphy.
The stone gate was entirely a dark red, as if cast from fresh blood. Its surface was covered in blade-mark-like lines, each and every line emanating a razor-sharp killing intent.
On both sides of the gate stood two gigantic saber-shaped stone pillars, coiled about with black Demonic Qi that looked as though it could transform into sharp blades at any moment and hack down any intruder. The stone steps before the gate were smeared with bloodstains; though long since dried, they still exuded a dense reek of blood.
This was merely an entrance.
Yet it gave one the feeling of a Human World Purgatory.
