The joyous atmosphere did not last long, as the great battle caused the earth and mountain peaks to crumble. Volcanoes erupted, lava flowed, and the scorching fires illuminated the entire sky. The once lush forest was burned to charcoal, the air filled with the acrid smell of burnt wood and demon qi.
At the center of the battlefield, a massive crater came into view, left by the Bu Mie Demon God's fight. Cracks around the crater spread like spider webs, as if the ground had been torn apart, revealing the lava beneath.
Lava spewed from the volcanoes down the cracks, forming fiery rivers that divided the battlefield into fragmented lands. Wherever the lava flowed, everything was melted; be it rocks or trees, all turned to ashes.
In the sky, dark clouds gathered densely, with lightning and thunder shaking heaven and earth. Bolts of lightning struck down, illuminating the lava rivers and the faces of the cultivators.
