In the dead of night, Xiao Tian, lying in bed, suddenly heard a faint knocking at the door. He quickly turned on the light and walked towards the door.
When he opened the door, he saw Xiang Yiting with red-rimmed eyes, as if she had just been crying.
Xiao Tian's expression changed as he anxiously asked, "What's wrong with you? What happened?"
His question struck a chord. Looking at Xiao Tian's eager eyes, Xiang Yiting's heart softened, and tears welled up once more. Though she wasn't sobbing, these silent tears were the most moving.
Hastily pulling Xiang Yiting inside, Xiao Tian asked again, "What on earth happened?"
After a moment, Xiang Yiting wiped away her tears with her sleeve and looked directly into Xiao Tian's eyes, saying, "I... just had a dream."
