The Third Elder intentionally omitted the name of the Branching Skill and described the effects of "Connected Branches" as simply as possible.
She always felt it was strangely peculiar to form "Connected Branches" with You Su, a man, and further elaborating on the type of connection they would share seemed awkward. She also hoped You Su would not misunderstand.
It was the first time the Third Elder used this skill on a man, never expecting it would be on someone else's disciple. However, as her disciple, normally they'd not need to venture to such isolated places alone. Her mountain was full of resources that aided disciple cultivation, making those risks unnecessary. So she only performed the skill on female disciples, mostly out of interest, to simply get close to young and beautiful fairies.
