Looking at Lu Wenwu's humble and eager-to-learn demeanor, Douglas felt a great sense of relief and a touch of pride.
Though you dragons are naturally a magic race, we humans are not bad either.
Even if we do not have innate powerful strength, through our own cultivation, generation after generation of mages and other cultivators have strived forward, ultimately securing the position of dominance in this world.
Status is earned through strength.
Ancient magic... sigh...
Thinking of the difficulty of learning ancient magic, Douglas felt a twinge of bitterness in his heart.
Even though he is an absolute celestial pride in the current magic realm, his research on ancient magic isn't even considered superficial.
This is almost considered a break in the inheritance.
The legend of the Heavenly Son who could naturally master ancient magic... it's been a full three thousand years since one has appeared.
This is not a good omen.
