Inside the building, Angelina leaned against Tang Xin's shoulder. Blood trickled down from the girl's eye corner, drying on her cheek. Tang Xin gently rested her head on Angelina's shoulder, her breath weak.
"You and Youyou are in trouble over there," Tang Xin said softly. "I can still take two more lethal wounds for her."
"During this time, I'll maintain the enhancement state."
Angelina had nothing to say. She watched as Tang Xin, covered in cracks, silently repaired herself like fixing a doll; sharing Bai Youyou's injuries while slowly healing the cracks on her own body.
If she had to evaluate, she'd think the sickest person in the Light Chasing Garden was the Enhancer, completely unable to understand her thinking.
"Lu Shuhang is actually quite capable, why didn't we see him use these skills before? He's been hiding it well."
