For Run Run Duck, who loves to bask in the sun, this was destined to be an unpleasant day.
It reluctantly got out of the soft big bed, stood in front of the mirror, and groomed its head feathers and body down to satisfaction, nodding approvingly.
Leaving the farmer's bedroom, Run Run Duck walked into the hall. The fragrance was already wafting through the air, and looking forward, it saw a bowl of shrimp congee on the table, which was appetizing.
Run Run Duck quickly put on its little apron, obediently sat on the special stool, and slowly sipped the shrimp congee.
Though there was no sun, the carefully prepared shrimp congee by the old farmer managed to lift Duck's gloomy mood a bit.
After finishing the shrimp congee, Run Run Duck gently patted its belly, and suddenly a green figure dashed out. A Little Wood Spirit Rat nodded to Duck and then hopped with the bowl into the kitchen.
