The Magic Staff in Gauss's hand flared with a magic halo once more.
Another Dawn was about to strike.
Anticipating the familiar attack pattern, Snaz dared not delay this time. Before the Spell struck, it activated Black Light Tremor, propelling its body through the air to evade.
But the moment it dodged, several Dragon Roar Missiles locked onto it, flapping their Dragon Flame wings as they closed in rapidly.
Forced into a corner, it continued to dodge in mid-air.
Vaguely, it felt a sense of déjà vu. Gauss's relentless pursuit surprisingly mirrored its own ferocity at the start of the battle.
Compared to Dawn, Dragon Roar Missiles possessed superior tracking capabilities; even Snaz couldn't evade them completely.
Right before a Dragon Roar Missile struck, it raised an arm, condensing black light energy in its palm and expanding it into a massive black shield before it.
"BOOM!"
