As he launched a triple Magic Missile to make the Treasure Chest Monster retreat into its shell, Gauss took the opportunity to pull out some fire oil from his Storage Pouch and pour it onto the ground.
Once everything was set, he continued to retreat further back.
The Treasure Chest Monster, suspecting nothing, kept moving toward him from a distance.
"Swoosh!"
When it landed on the patch of ground soaked in fire oil, it seemed to be slightly affected, sliding forward an extra ten centimeters or so. However, thanks to its dozens of tiny tentacle feet, it quickly regained its balance.
But Gauss hadn't poured the oil to replicate the effect of the Greasy Technique.
