"So, Gauss, what brings you here today?"
"Don't tell me you're here to buy a magic wand?"
Andri noticed that as soon as he walked in, he'd been staring at her magic wand, his face full of desire.
"Senior, may I ask about the price?" Gauss asked cautiously.
The reason he called her 'senior', of course, was because he figured anyone who owned a place full of collections like this Halfling Andri couldn't be an ordinary person—most likely a professional too.
"Second from the left, that short one—cheapest, 20 gold coins."
"Hiss... that's expensive."
So expensive.
Andri just casually threw out a price, and it was enough to make Gauss suck in a breath.
20 gold coins—that means, for missions like the one he just finished, he'd have to do at least 280 to afford it, and that's not even counting his daily living expenses.
Mages really are high-class.
Even their weapons are terrifyingly pricey.
