"How are you feeling?"
A sound of male voice greeted Meera when she opened her eyes, she looked around her and figured that she was back in her own room, while Adam was sitting on the edge of her bed. He immediately stood up and poured a glass of water for her, so she could moisten her parched throat.
"Do you feel hurt anywhere?" Adam asked her again after he helped her to drink, so she wouldn't choke.
"I am… fine…" Meera was still having trouble to find her voice, but she felt a lot better, especially when she knew that she was in a familiar place, where she could feel safe. "Where is Dalton?"
The memory of what happened the last time when Dalton saved her, flashed in her mind and she was dreaded by worried. She looked around her, but it seemed Dalton was not there, probably, they were not even in the same room.
