Yet, she didn't even feel grateful at all. why would she?
Meera swept her gaze around this room and to her relief, she was alone here, there was no sign someone was there.
And after that quick observation, Meera tried to move her body. She was ready to close her eyes again to pretend that she was sleeping.
However, because there was no one here, Meera moved her body. She tried to push herself up and then got off the bed.
But, her legs were so weak, she could barely take the second steps when her legs buckled and she fell to the ground.
Meera blinked her eyes for a moment and then shook her head. She had never felt so despondent like right now.
Gritted her teeth, she pushed herself up and tried to walk toward the door again, but after a few steps she fell to the ground again, her knees were sore because of the fall and she couldn't complain.
