Later, Licht was in the XENIZ village for some personal work.
Licht nervously said, "Hey there," to a random girl.
The girl said, "Hello."
Licht said, "I'm Licht. I'm human, I guess."
The girl said, "I'm unaware of my name, but everyone around here calls me La."
Licht said, "La? Oh. What are you even doing here? You are human, right?"
La said, "I don't know. I don't even know what I am. The XENIZ took me in when I was young. I don't even know what am I."
Licht said, "Sorry to be so tactless. I just wanted to know. So see you, I guess."
Pride thought, How could Lilith plan to destroy the village? This village holds her greatest secret.
Licht said, "Hey Pride, get me a portal home."
As Licht went home:
Mia said, "Sir, you are back. Are you alright?"
Licht said, "Yeah."
Mia said, "What happened?"
Licht said, "Nothing. Just a waste of time."
Mia said, "Was it a false alarm?"
Licht said, "Nope. Not a false alarm. Just waste of time."
Mia said, "Sir, what exactly is Operation Black Devil?"
Licht said, "Some time ago, deep into the Abyssal Zone, we found a village of devils protected by Pride of the Sins. Yet we formed an alliance with them as every devil in the village were pacifists."
Mia said, "Devils? The Abyssal Zone? How?"
Licht said, "We bore no hatred towards them. Yet a plan was made to eliminate them by Liebe. The plan was simple: if they betrayed us or changed their stance, the plan was simple—end all of them. Operation Black Devil. But the only one who could greenlight it was Liebe. And as you know, Gaia, a member of our team, is a devil herself. So when we were attacked, the enemy knew Gaia was a devil. And after the attack, Liebe interrogated everyone. And when everyone was found innocent, only Pride was left. He was the only one who was left since all others were proved to be innocent. Only he was left. And Liebe has lost it, so he greenlit it. He held everyone hostage while he interrogated Pride. And sadly, it was just a wild goose chase. So now we have lost the element of surprise. But that's it."
Mia said, "That's too much to take at once."
Licht said, "The only ones who even knew about Black Devil were Liebe, myself, the Captain, and Gelda."
Mia said, "But then shouldn't the Captain be the one who can greenlight it?"
Licht said, "Under normal circumstances, that would be true. But based on the unique relationship between Liebe and the Captain, Liebe does whatever he wants. And the same exception extends to us, the members of Team Liebe."
Mia said, "It seems the Captain really shows favoritism towards the Admiral."
Licht laughed and said, "Favo—favor—favoritism?"

Licht said, "Ohhhhhhh hell no. She literally missed every one of our matches in the World Championships. She maybe came for like one and stayed like what, 12 seconds? And she did that—Gelda's portals, by the way. And couldn't stay longer because her precious pissed his pants or something. Even though she knew how much this meant to Liebe."
Mia said, "But sir, why do you hate her?"
Licht said, "She has done stuff that can't and shouldn't be forgiven. But Liebe is too kind. So I do it just because Liebe can't. Nothing else."
Mia said, "I understand."
Licht said, "How long have we been so far?"
Mia said, "So far we have been here 7 days. Basically a week."
Licht said, "Frick. We have to leave."
Mia said, "Where, sir?"
Licht said, "Doesn't matter. And forget you ever came here. We need to go somewhere for a week. And also show me your autograph of my dad."
Mia said, "You mean this?"
Licht said, "Frick. It's the last page. Where we are going, if you mention my dad, they will crucify you and call you Herald of Satan."
Mia said, "Sorry, sir."
Licht said, "This diary needs more autographs."
Mia said, "But sir, how?"
Licht said, "Want Eldrie, Lara, Stall, Gelda, and Lilith's autograph from our HQ?"

Licht said, "Good." As he took the diary and vanished. In 15 minutes, he returned with the signatures.
Licht said, "Now pack your bags. We are going to Ultz."

Licht said, "Mia, allow me to introduce—"

Licht said, "Frick."
Lichita said, "I see you know me."
Licht said, "This is my mommy."
Lichita said, "I—Licht and Rosa's mother."
Lichita said, "Licht, freshen up, then let's talk."
As Licht and Mia went to Licht's room:
Mia said, "Sir, this place is fancy. And who is she?"
Licht said, "My mother."
Mia said, "Wait, then who is Mrs. Elodie?"
Licht said, "My mom."
Mia said, "Wait, huh? What, sir? I'm confused."
Licht said, "Well, long story short: this is my birth mother. And later my dad had a divorce, so my mom took care of me. And my mama birthed me, you know."
Mia said, "Oh, now I see, sir. It's a bit complex, sir."

Mia said, "Yes, I understand. But it appears your mama and dad aren't very friendly."
Licht said, "Well, the thing is, my mama is religious. But my dad—well, he is banned from church."
Mia said, "What does 'banned from church' mean, sir? Isn't church considered the house of God, and everyone is supposed to be welcomed equally?"
Licht said, "Yeah. My dad took that personally. And you know, somehow made it a billion times worse."
