If it had, they would have torn each other apart by now.
Then the warrior told us that they had received a call from Ian's father, the headmaster, before he left for the north.
He had advised them to secure the mansion somehow.
So the warrior explained that they had lied to the people and told them that there was still a monster inside the mansion, and that it had been locked in.
That was why no one dared to go near the mansion.
They were afraid the monster might come out.
And thankfully, it worked.
Not a single person tried to invade the mansion.
That was why we believed that all the documents and files were still secured inside.
