"What kinda monster is he!" The mage thought to himself "His energy is being taken away but he's still running!"
"Wait no, calm down and think" Cinister thought to himself "Everyone is running and their energy is still not draining while Ragna is running at full speed and is in first place!?"

"Running at full speed, His energy is the one that's depleting and he's in first place!" Cinister finally realized
"I just don't have to run at full speed!" Cinister smirked as he started running at 90%
CRASH!
Cinister tripped as his face and body fell on the ground
"Whatever I guess I'll walk for now" he said as he started to walk towards the finish line
"Man this is so boring plus I can't use mobility spells since they banned them for this test" he tries to use [JetBurst] but nothing comes out his feet "How's that fair! Class 2 could use mobility spells so why can't I!"
After walking for a bit Cinister decided to take a look towards the right and saw the beautiful Lake he saw before joining the Academy
The little duckies swimming in it, frogs jumping on the lily pads, the constant small rainbow always being there, the quiet yet noticeable ripples in the water and the beautiful inviteful atmosphere
"Man if I could turn anything into a weapon, I would love to see this Lake as a staff that I could use" Cinister daydreamed in his head as he stared at the lake with some sort of zeal
"What's up, loser" a strange voiced was heard behind him
"Huh! Who are you?" Cinister was confused as he looked behind him to see a man with grey hair, small glasses, yellow eyes and a casual outfit(a T-shirt and some baggy pants)
"My name is not important but I want all the strong people to pass this test so…" he said as he revealed a white ribbon in his hand "I can guarantee your victory in this little racing game and in exchange we will pair up in the Crown game and the Tournament but you would also you owe me a favor"
"Why would I ever do that?" Cinister quickly questioned the weird man
"Well I'm sure you know but after you graduate from this academy you need to pass a test in the Central Authorities which has 3 conditions"
"First you need to pass the test itself"
"Second you have to be a registered citizen and live there for 1 year"
"And finally you need to have a 6 person party BUT if you pass this race you can skip the 2nd step which is the one that most people don't wanna do" the grey-haired man said "So it's a win-win, I help you pass round 1 and you help me pass the Crown Game or The Tournament"
"Why do you think I need your help to win?" Cinister "I'm sure that I can pass this test on my own"
"Well you're dead last and all the golems have been cleared from here so I want you to pass" the Commander explained
"If you know that I am dead last why would you bother making me pass" The Scaler replied
"Well because you're kinda like a star in the Academy I mean making Allen draw with you is a huge feat and Xavier told a lot of people about you so yeah, your Eldritch strength isn't well hidden" The strange guy informed him "So what do you say?"
"I say no." Cinister stood firm "If I'm going to pass this test then I want to do it with my own strengths"
"You're admirable well I guess I can't convince you but I will still give you a hint about this race" he said "Try doing something without thinking about it"
Then he took of leaving only dust and a confused Cinister
"Do something without thinking?"
TOWER OF SCALING
"I'm in first place I can't believe it" Ragna said as he charged with blazing speed leaving everyone in the dust
Then a Golem with a cannon in place of a hand, appeared and shot stones with thunderous speed, trying to hit Ragna

Ragna parried the shot and sent it double the speed and impact
FWOOSH
The Golem caught the stone and lunged at Ragna ready to hit him with the cannon
"I don't think so!" Ragna smirked as he activated [Thunder Encloakment] in its passive state, and so Ranga parried the attack, leaving the Golem completely open
CROSS RAGNA
He yelled as he sliced the Golem in four pieces but no ribbon came out
"Really this is my 5th one and there's still no ribbon but at least hunting those monster in the forest really helped me sharpen up my instincts" he kept boasting about himself "Well at least nothing can stop me now"
"Now even this?" a huge ice cube came flying at him

The ice cube went back to its sender but a huge claw grabbed it
CRUNCH
"So this is the Eldritch who is the second rate swords man, huh?" a talking bear, with a shield on its back, mocked him
"Are you a panda?" Ragna asked
"Not a smart one are you?" the bear said as it roared. In that moment Ragna felt his legs get even heavier
"Huh? A debuff but by the looks of it you're a Tank?" The Knight proclaimed
"So you don't know about race advantages well doesn't matter to me" the bear replied
"Then what's the human perk-" Ragna was trying to finish his sentence but Ben(the bear) hit his stomach making the knight spit out blood
"Not the patient one are you?" Ragna smiled as he got up and stared up and mocked the bear
"So you aren't dead?" Ben said "This will be fun!"
CROSS RAGNA!!
BRICK BRAKE!
Ragna sliced at Ben but he just punched where the two sliced met making The Knight stumble back
"You also have developed your own technique, huh?" Ragna exclaimed as his nose bled a little
"Well Class 3 isn't anything to scoff at!" Ben responded as he used [Ice Blocks] and from his shield, a big cube of ice hit Ragna in the chest
