Chapter 385 - Chapter 385: The Return of [Aeon Cronos]

The Speaker was fully confident that the stellar cannon's trajectory had been precisely calculated—it wouldn't hit any of the colony worlds by mistake.

So, he didn't even glance at the stars caught in the blast.

His gaze was locked solely on Orsaga, still standing tall within the blazing energy beam, completely unharmed after taking a direct hit from a stellar-class weapon.

When he finally confirmed that even this kind of power couldn't injure the enemy, a deep sense of futility crept into his heart.

It was like trying to fight a turtle and not even knowing where to bite.

Without waiting for the beam to subside, he immediately sent another command—ordering the stellar cannon's operators to increase energy output.

But he didn't know—Orsaga was an Ifrit, a flame demon.

Attacks powered by stellar energy, unless their elemental nature was completely converted, couldn't harm him at all.

Not even worth calling a scratch.

In fact, such attacks could even restore his mana and health.

That's why Orsaga hadn't bothered dodging—this was free energy.

Only when he noticed the enemy preparing to fire again did he lazily raise a hand.

Before everyone's stunned eyes, Orsaga reached upward, arm extended into the pressure of a star bearing down on him from above.

As his fingers moved, the massive stellar body—several times larger than the Sun of the Solar System—began to churn violently with one stellar storm after another.

"RUMMMMMBLE..."

The sturdy metal rings orbiting the star began to crack and shatter with sharp metallic groans.

Shrapnel scattered into space—

Yet the rings still functioned, still exerted gravitational control!

That visible gravitational force now spiraled around Orsaga.

It distorted the very fabric of space—and even began to tug on the star itself.

At last, the star that had illuminated the Gaienser World for billions of years was pulled off its orbit—

By Orsaga's single hand.

"CRACK!"

With a sharp snap, the metal rings finally gave out.

And around them, nearby stars began to destabilize—caught in the gravitational chaos.

One after another, entire planets were yanked from their orbits.

Mountains shattered, oceans reversed course, atmospheres were torn away. Some worlds were even ripped into fragments under the tidal forces—blazing magma spewed from their cores.

Back on Gaienser's homeworld—

Massive tectonic plates were lifted from the crust under the force of altered gravity.

A full-blown mass extinction began. Countless lives were wiped out in an instant.

Gripping the star in one hand, Orsaga turned his palm slightly and laughed heartily:

"Well then—got anything else up your sleeve?"

Then, with a casual squeeze—

The star above his head began to shrink.

His innate power—[Sovereign Will – Reality Distortion]—activated.

Under his control, the internal structure of the star began to change.

Matter and energy reshaped into entirely new constructs.

Some elements that hadn't even existed before began to form out of nothingness.

After finishing the transformation, Orsaga turned toward his stunned enemies and said with a smile:

"You've got three minutes left. If you can beat me in that time... maybe you'll still have a chance."

Faced with his words, no one bothered replying.

Their faces grim, the surviving combatants charged in all at once.

---

Three minutes later.

The surface of Gaienser's homeworld was riddled with dozens of massive craters. Lava gushed from the planet's broken core.

As for the Psionic Council?

They had been all but annihilated.

Only one member remained—the Speaker himself—barely clinging to life.

Orsaga held him up effortlessly with two fingers pinching his skull, smiling coldly.

"What a shame... You lost."

With that, he crushed the Speaker's skull like pulp.

The Psionic Council had been wiped out.

Just then—

"ROOOAAARRRR!!"

A thunderous, primal roar tore through the battlefield.

Before countless watching eyes, a colossal humanoid figure—hundreds of kilometers tall, with four muscular arms—tore through the shell of the star with its bare hands.

As it emerged, the hollowed-out remains of the star's interior became fully visible.

It was—[Aeon Cronos].

Once believed to have perished alongside Orsaga's avatar in the Dark tower Multiverse, destroyed before it even had the chance to resist...

There had been no struggle—just a clean, absolute death.

But at its core, [Aeon Cronos] was merely an extension of Orsaga himself.

Its essence came from Orsaga's own soul.

Which meant—whenever Orsaga wished, he could revive it at will.

Now was the perfect opportunity.

By using the core of the star as an incubation chamber, [Aeon Cronos] had been reborn!

And this time, having used a fully intact star as its nutrient base—

It had emerged far more powerful than before.

Right at birth, it already approached the level of a Greater Demon.

"Devour everything in this universe."

Orsaga's command echoed clearly in Aeon' mind.

Starving and eager to feast, Aeon let out an ecstatic shriek.

With a spread of its mechanical wings, and under the boost of its thrusters, it shot toward a nearby planet—one of the many tossed around like a bowling ball by gravitational tides.

Flashes of red light pulsed.

And all remaining lifeforms on that planet were instantly transformed into blood, thanks to the effect of [Transcendence – Crimson Sin].

The blood flowed toward it automatically.

With every drop absorbed, Aeon became more frenzied—its towering body hunched over the planet's crust, devouring all useful material and energy in massive gulps.

And as its feast continued, its already-massive frame began to grow once more.

"That should be enough food for now…"

With that thought, and his rage now mostly vented, Orsaga—feeling much more at ease—casually opened a spatial gate and departed the Gaienser universe.

This dimension was composed of many disconnected worlds.

And based on the memories he had extracted earlier, the actual size of Gaienser was roughly equivalent to three hundred solar systems.

Not small, but hardly large, either.

It couldn't compare to those cosmic-scale Universes.

After all, just a single galaxy could hold hundreds of billions of solar systems.

And a full universe? Hundreds of billions of galaxies.

There was no comparison.

To Orsaga, the Gaienser universe was nothing more than a small dessert.

In terms of what he needed to advance to a Demon Lord, this universe was a mere crumb—barely even a drop in the ocean.

The perfect snack to feed Aeon.

After all, the newborn creature still needed plenty of nutrients to grow strong.

Outside the Sea of Multiverse...

After drifting aimlessly for a while, Orsaga began following the residual mark he had once left on the Wizard World—

And headed straight for it.
