Chapter 329 - Chapter 422 Friction

Even after using his resurrección Diagra, Gantenbainne wasn't his match; after seeing he couldn't do anything against Sado, a frantic, impotent anger flared in the Gantenbainne heart.

Angrily he reappeared above Sado and comes down on him with a downward kick, but Sado casually grabs his foot and throws him into one of the remaining pillars, which crumbles from the impact.

Bang! Bang!! Bang!!!

From within the resulting dust cloud,

Gantenbainne fires a barrage of small energy blasts at Sado, who blocks them with Brazo Derecha de Gigante, and is surprised when the dust clears to see Sado has vanished from his sightline.

Upon noticing that Sado has moved behind him, Gantenbainne turns around and narrowly avoids a blow from Brazo Izquierda del Diablo by leaping back several meters with a flip through the air.

Sweating in intimidation, Gantenbainne roars and runs forward while throwing an energy-infused uppercut.

In response, Sado effortlessly blocks the blow with Brazo Derecha de Gigante, runs forward across the hall with his arm still against Gantenbainne's fist to push the latter back against the wall at the opposite end, and holds out Brazo Izquierda del Diablo, which begins crackling with energy at its fingertips as Sado clenches his fingers into a fist and performs La Muerte, delivering a powerful blow to Gantenbainne that completely shatters Dragra and imprints a large and fearsome skull onto the wall behind him.

The force of Sado's blow destroys the wall and sends a near-unconscious Gantenbainne flying onto the sands outside, where Sado, having sealed both halves of his Fullbring, kneels at the former's side and observes that he only discovered his power because Gantenbainne's attack was so ferocious.

Thanking Gantenbainne for helping make him stronger than ever before, Sado promises to not kill him and wishes Gantenbainne well while standing up to depart, only to see a sunny blue sky above him and wonder if he is not within the walls of the dome after all because he cannot see the ceiling of the dome, even though the sunlight does not make sense.

'Why is there a sun here? Isn't Hueco Mundo a land without day and perpetual darkness with an unmoving moon?' Sado wondered in surprise, the bright, unmoving celestial body a strange, impossible paradox in the sky.

"Sado... run!" Suddenly an alert and fearful familiar voice of Gantenbainne sounded from behind, a ragged whisper of sheer terror that cut through Sado's brief moment of confusion, alerting him.

Sado spun around, his gaze snapping to the sight: a tall, handsome figure stood silently beside the massive, broken hole in the wall, the fine sand still raining down around his boots. The figure wore a pristine white Arrancar uniform with black and purple stripes, his white hair a striking contrast to the perpetual gloom of the world. A black bandana and mask concealed the lower half of his face and neck, and his eyes... a disquieting flash of purple-gold... bore the calm, utterly detached expression of a predator observing its prey.

"Who are you?" Sado asked with furrowed brows, the hairs on his Brazo Derecha de Gigante standing on end. The spiritual pressure emanating from the newcomer was a silent, suffocating presence, far more vast and controlled than Gantenbainne's. Sado instinctively released his Giant and Devil arms again, the spiritual armor snapping back into place with a fierce hiss.

"Run away, what are you doing?" Gantenbainne spoke, the words strained and thick with fear as he stared at Sado in shock. His eyes darted to the number five, stark and black, written on Eero's left hand middle finger, a mark that confirmed the newcomer's terrifying rank.

Eero glanced down at the battered Gantenbainne and then ignored him, a casual dismissal that spoke volumes of their difference in status. He then turned his full attention to Sado, a ready-to-attack expression settling on his face.

"You are human? I didn't expect a human would invade a tower full of Arrancars; your courage is commendable." Eero spoke, a playful, analytical smile barely visible above the mask.

Sado ignored his words and moved forward instantly, his focus absolute, saying, "I don't have time to talk; I will settle it in one move." The enormous, devil-like fist of Brazo Izquierda del Diablo shot toward Eero's chest with the speed and finality of a collapsing star.

Eero smiled, watching the right giant punch progressing toward his chest, and spoke, his voice a low, level hum.

"Let me show you a technique that I haven't used for a while, Force Pulse!"

Swish!

Instantly, Sado was startled. The unimaginable momentum driving his fist vanished, as if he had punched a wall of pure, invisible syrup. His punch force slowed down dramatically, the ferocious wind shear around his arm dying in an instant. When the tip of his fist reached a few millimeters near Eero's chest, it stopped completely, the spiritual engine of his Fullbring power uselessly stalled.

Thud!!

Sado stared in shock as his fist touched Eero's chest... not with a world-shattering impact, but with a gentle thud, like a child tapping a drum. It was a contact without damage, without force. Eero was standing in front of him calmly, looking at him with an intriguing expression.

Sado's face contorted in disbelief. He hurriedly jumped and backed away, putting distance between them, his gaze on Eero a mix of intense frustration and confusion. "What did you do?" He couldn't comprehend why the unimaginable force of his attack had simply disappeared before reaching Eero's chest.

Eero nodded, still smiling faintly, a detached patience in his eyes. "It seems you are a human student; then you must understand the friction; I just nullified your force using air friction."

The concept of an Arrancar discussing atmospheric physics mid-battle was so bizarre, Sado's eyes widened in profound shock. His expression became confused and hesitant, looking at Eero as if he were a ghost.
