Adrian's expression fell at the stern admonishment but he didn't dare talk back. Instead, he lowered his head and apologised, "That was my bad, Young Miss."
"Hmph!" The Young Miss snorted and ignored him.
"Don't be so harsh on him, little Aurie. He is still young and unlike you, he still needs time to handle his emotions." The High Elder smiled indulgently.
Aurelia eyed the High Elder for a moment before turning her gaze back to Lukas, her expression becoming cold.
Seeing this, Adrian smirked but feeling the High Elder's gaze on him, he stopped smiling and also looked at Lukas.
After a while, he couldn't help but ask, "High Elder, what are we going to do?"
"What else? We are going to invite him to be the Gordon Family's guest. As for the rest, the family leader will do as he sees fit." The High Elder calmly said.
