Livia's hand extended, essence flowing naturally through channels she'd trained for years.
The rock formation punched upward, catching the D-rank Mud Crawler in the stomach and launching it backward into a tree trunk.

The beast hit hard, slumped and didn't rise again.

Her bracelet pulsed. 1400.
Four hundred points now.
Four D-rank beasts dead in the last few minutes.
Livia stood in a small clearing, breathing harder than she should be.
The fights weren't difficult, these were basic beasts, predictable patterns, easy to counter with earth manipulation.
But her stamina was going. Weeks of barely eating, barely sleeping, barely existing had left her running on fumes even before the exam started.
Then her hand moved unconsciously to the pendant at her chest. The teardrop shape was warm against her skin. Her jaw tightened slightly before she let it relax.
