The wind above the Shattered Skies howled with a sound unlike anything Kael had ever known. High in the Celestial Altitudes, where gravity lost its meaning and the sky cracked with ethereal lightning, floated the ruins of once-holy temples now consumed by silence.
Here, amidst drifting isles and forgotten altars, a presence stirred.

From the crater rose a figure wrapped in fractured armor and starlight. Her wings were torn, one almost broken, the other dripping silver blood. Her eyes burned with betrayal and celestial wrath.
"I warned them," she said, her voice shaking. "I begged them to stop the Sovereign System. They called me heretic."
Kael's pulse spiked.

The battle was unlike any before.
The sky fractured as they fought. She wielded astral blades, each strike launching gravitational pulses. Kael dodged through Nireya's shadowstep, shielded himself with Elowen's flameburst field, and retaliated using Aquaria's abyssal echo to disorient her mid-flight.
Yet nothing seemed to faze her completely.
She was a general of the divine—a being forged in ancient stars.
Finally, Kael let go of his control. He channeled all four Bonds in a surge of harmony, not domination.
He opened his soul.
"I don't want to own you," he whispered. "I want to understand you."
She halted mid-air. Her wings dimmed.
