Seeing Fiona, instead of feeling surprised, Karina sharpened her eyes and looked at her with caution. Then in a steady voice, she asked this supposed partner of hers about what was going on.
Seeing Karina being cautious and suspicious, Fiona just smiled at her without minding it. Then she waved her hand and asked Karina to not worry.
The easy going smile that she had made her words more convincing. But Karina was not naive enough to just believe that and laugh along with her.
