Seeing this reaction, Karina smiled and told everyone that she had used a very simple mental interference spell so that what the ladies were going to talk about, these men would not be able to understand any of that. Everything would just sound like gibberish to them.
This sounded like a terrifying and extremely high quality magic but according to Karina, this was a very simple and almost useless rank 0 spell that almost all the competent magus apprentices were capable of using.
As for why this was considered to be useless, that was because it had no effect on anyone who could use magic or some other kind of high quality energy.
Magi and their mind were protected with their Arcane Scroll and that was true for even the low level magus apprentices.
