"What action?" A voice suddenly asked, causing Joanne to look up and see that Millie was looking at her through the reflection of her dressing room mirror while removing her earrings.
"Sorry, didn't mean to interrupt your conversation," Joanne said apologetically.
"It's cool," Millie replied before asking curiously, "So what are you watching? Some bodyguard action movie?"
Joanne's lip twitched before she asked, "Do you think I only watch action stuff because I work as a bodyguard sometimes?"
"Leave her alone, Millie. She's only here for a couple of weeks after all," Jeanie said.
"Sorry, sorry, didn't mean to offend," Millie said as she was the one to apologise this time.
"It's fine, if you must know, I'm watching a stream," Joanne replied while smirking as she remembered that these three had actually met Adam before.
"A stream?" Billie repeated before asking with a frown, "What sort of stream has any sort of action that would interest a bodyguard?"
"Normally, I would agree with you, but this streamer is different," Joanne replied as she still wore the same smirk.
"How? And why are you smirking like that?" Billie asked.
"Well, it just so happens you three have met this particular streamer before," Joanne answered.
"We've met many streamers; you're going to have to give us a bit more to go on if you want us to guess their identity," Jeanie remarked.
"If we've met them before, maybe we can get you their autograph as thanks for guarding us," Millie suggested.
"Thanks for the offer, but that might be a bit difficult since he's currently not on Earth," Joanne replied while eagerly awaiting their reactions.
"Huh!" All three Triple Trouble members replied as they looked at Joanne's reflection in their mirrors with confusion before Billie asked, "Not on Earth? What are you talking about?"
"Surely you remember the guy who saved you from a knife attack at Alamo Grand Hotel, Miss Millie?" Joanne asked.
"HIM!" Millie asked in shock as she spun around in her chair to stare directly at Joanne, while the other two also turned around in surprise.
"Yup, I'm watching Adam Spencer's stream; he's currently on a planet called Fenix Nest in the Ashes Galaxy," Joanne explained.
"No way," Billie replied disbelievingly.
"That's impossible; the whole thing about him leaving Earth was just some stupid rumour; the five families said so," Jeanie added.
"Ah, well, speaking of the five families," Joanne began and only continued after checking that Tephe was still flying, "The whole thing about terrorists organising that coordinated strike was a lie. It was actually Adam Spencer attacking properties belonging to the five families as revenge… well, four of the five since he didn't attack anything in the Northern Continent."
"He attacked from orbit?" Millie asked excitedly before adding, "How?"
"From his spaceship," Jeanie replied.
"Spaceship?" Billie repeated in disbelief.
"Sure, how else do you think he managed to travel to another galaxy?" Jeanie asked.
"Why did he leave?" Millie asked before adding, "I was hoping I might see him again to thank him for before."
"You already thanked him, remember?" Jeanie asked.
"He left because he was framed for his girlfriend's murder. Surely you heard about how the Morose family made a statement saying they had found new evidence that pointed to Viktor Morose killing Jenny Downs and that his father, Francis Morose, helped him cover it up?" Joanne asked before adding.
"Well, they only admitted the truth after Adam threatened to destroy their entire family."
"Someone other than the five families who can destroy one of them?" Billie asked in disbelief.
"Technically, it would take two or more of the five families to destroy one of them; that's why the five still exist. They keep each other in check," Jeanie explained.
"Still, to be able to threaten the five families and even destroy them, he must be strong," Millie stated with glazed eyes.
"Strong doesn't even describe it," Joanne replied. The area between her legs twitched a bit as she added, "There isn't anyone on Earth that can match up to him."
"So what's he doing now?" Millie asked eagerly.
"He's chasing down an assassin who just attempted to kill one of his girlfriends," Joanne replied.
"Girlfriend," Millie repeated in disappointment.
"Wait," Jeanie said before asking, "Girlfriends, as in plural, as in more than one?"
"He currently has three," Joanne replied before mumbling, "I'm hoping to join them one day."
"What was that?" Billie asked.
"Oh, nothing, nothing," Joanne replied quickly.
"How does he have three girlfriends?" Jeanie asked.
"Apparently, polygamy is a fairly common occurrence out in the universe," Joanne replied.
"Seriously?" Billie asked with a frown.
"Don't act all high and mighty, Billie. You haven't even had a boyfriend, yet you sleep around with different men," Millie snapped.
"Oh, like you're any different," Billie snapped back.
"None of us has had a boyfriend yet, since the company doesn't allow it. All we can do is have a little fun on the side to relieve our tension and stress or to help further our career," Jeanie cut in.
"That's kinda harsh," Joanne remarked before adding, "Having to sleep with people you're not attracted to just to further your career."
"It's how the K-pop industry is if you want to go places," Jeanie replied dismissively as if she wasn't bothered by it before adding, "Though admittedly we're now big enough that we don't have to worry about that."
"One of us still tried it a short while ago with a guy who almost ended up stabbing her, though," Billie remarked as she glared at Millie angrily.
"I already apologised for that," Millie replied meekly before adding, "I figured I could get that crazy bastard Sammy Joe to fall for me, then use his feelings to help us make a name for ourselves in the Western Continent."
"Except you almost got yourself killed," Billie snapped.
"Ok, calm down, calm down," Jeanie said in a calming tone before turning to Billie and saying, "You're only mad at her because she almost got herself killed.
"And you," Jeanie said while turning to Millie before adding, "Never do something like that again. If it wasn't for Adam Spencer being there, you could have died."
"I know, I know, that's why I wanted to thank him again, he also helped me realise that I was being used by that bastard and not the other way around," Millie replied.
"Whatever," Billie snorted before turning to Joanne and asking, "So who are these girlfriends of his? Are they pretty?"
"Pretty doesn't even describe it," Joanne replied before fiddling with her phone.
As she did, she left the stream playing in a small window while she accessed the Universal Subspace Network and did a search for Lorelie.
"This is Diva Lorelie," Joanne said, turning the phone to show them one of Lorelie's photos.
"Wow!" All three women said in amazement before Millie asked, "Look at her hair, I love that colour, how can she be so beautiful?"
"Yeah, I don't think even Emily Daniels can compare to her. How did Adam Spencer even end up with such a beauty?" Billie asked before adding, "I mean, he was handsome, but this girl's way out of his league."
"I dunno, I thought he was kinda hot," Millie replied while blushing slightly before adding, "Besides, Emily Daniels is married."
"What sort of a name is Diva Lorelie?" Jeanie asked.
"Diva is a title given to the top ten celebrities in each field," Joanne said before adding, "For example, Diva Lorelie is one of the top singers in the universe and is in fact the current number one singer."
"Number one singer in the entire universe?" Jeanie asked in amazement.
"That's nuts," Billie replied before saying, "It's hard enough just to become number one in Korea, let alone the entire universe."
"What about the other two then?" Millie asked as all three women were now giving Joanne their full attention.
"Weellllll," Joanne replied while playing with her phone before showing another photo and saying, "This is Diva Rowena."
"Another diva?" Jeanie said in surprise before asking, "Is she a singer too?"
"Those wings are some wild accessories; they look so real," Billie remarked.
"She's just as beautiful as Diva Lorelie; those blood-red eyes and hair give her a dangerous air," Millie stated.
"She's not a singer, but a model," Joanne replied.
"Makes sense, considering her beauty," Jeanie stated while the other two nodded.
"Also, those wings are not accessories; they're real," Joanne said with a wink.
"What!" All three women exclaimed before Billie asked, "How is that possible?"
"Well, she's a different race, remember, all of them are," Joanne began to explain. "Diva Rowena is a Brood, which we would mistake for a vampire, while Diva Lorelie is a Merinmian, which I guess we would compare to mermaids."
"Vampires and Mermaids?" Millie said in shock.
"This is crazy," Billie added while Jeanie nodded in agreement.
"Haha, you think that's crazy? Check this out," Joanne said in enjoyment before she reverted the stream back to full screen mode and showed it to the three members of Triple Trouble.
"Is that a fucking dragon?" Billie asked in shock.
