"Yes," Elemence replied before explaining, "Our flames are intricately connected with our emotions, meaning we can easily lose control of our flames if we are overwhelmed by anger and lose control of our emotions."
"It's all that bastard Sciezasyi's fault for appearing before me," Revi pouted before adding in a complaining tone, "Why the Succuba and Nagareens agreed to let a Herpolisk be the Tail Galaxy senator is beyond me."
"Probably because neither of them has the same hatred for the Herpolisk race as you Phoenixes," Lorelie remarked before adding, "They are from the same galaxy after all."
"The Succuba and other races should just kick every Herpolisk out of the Tail Galaxy," Revi pouted.
"While I agree as a member of our race, we both know that's not something that will ever happen," Elemence replied.
"I know, but a Phoenix can dream, can't she?" Revi asked.
"So, are you going to inform Adam of the Universal Senate's request?" Emma asked.
"Well, little Viven did ask me to," Revi replied with a shrug.
"He'll definitely refuse," Lorelie said with a chuckle.
"I know, and I did tell her that," Revi stated before thinking of something and saying, "Still, things might get awkward when he escorts Pevaphio to the Supreme Speaker selection as her bodyguard."
"Damn, I forgot that Senator Pevaphio asked that of Adam back then," Lorelie replied before asking, "Who do you plan to vote for in the upcoming election, if you don't mind me asking?"
"We plan to vote for little Viven, so that she has another term as Supreme Speaker. I'm personally close with her family and her view and attitude towards matters generally align with my own," Revi replied.
"Don't forget the fact that you also like to tease her whenever you get the chance," Elemence remarked while shaking her head.
"Well, she's so easy to tease, just like her old grandmother," Revi replied as her mind wandered.
"Everything ok?" Lorelie asked as she noticed how Revi seemed distracted.
"Sorry, I was just remembering an old friend who passed away a few years ago," Revi replied before turning to Elemence and saying, "You should definitely come with us to Aqua Primus as Emma suggested."
"Yes, you should," Lorelie agreed while winking pointedly at Elemence from behind Revi's back.
"I mean, I'm more than happy to accept, but shouldn't we ask Adam first since it's his ship?" Elemence replied.
"ADAM!" Revi suddenly shouted as some more of Lorelie's fans approached her, asking for photos and autographs.
Adam turned upon hearing Revi's shout and gave her a quizzical look before she started waving him over.
"I'll be back in a moment," Adam said to Tephe and Eri, who nodded in confirmation before going back to inspecting the different stores.
As Adam made his way towards them, a loud scream caught everyone's attention, causing them all to look in Lorelie's direction.
"AAHHHHHH!" Lorelie screamed in pain as the red light of a beam saber emerged from the centre of her chest before she collapsed to the ground.
"LORELIE!" Adam, Revi, Elemence and Emma yelled as they rushed towards her in a panic.

"Lorelie, talk to us," Revi called as she bent down next to Lorelie and supported her body.
"How is she?" Adam asked in alarm as he arrived next to Lorelie.
He bent down to check on her while the surrounding citizens began to gather around and watch, with some of them even beginning to record what was happening.
[Lizziethetruepower (Palaxia): Shit, she doesn't look good.]
[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): The energy beam pierced right through her.]
"Revi, hold her steady," Elemence instructed as she reached behind Lorelie's back and removed the beam saber.
"Should you be removing that? What if she suddenly starts bleeding?" Emma asked in concern.
"It's a beam saber, not a normal knife," Elemence replied before explaining, "The heat from the energy blade would have cauterised the wound, preventing it from bleeding, that's the only silver lining in this."
"LORELIE!" Tephe suddenly shouted in alarm as she and Eri ran up to them while Maya looked down curiously at the injured Lorelie.
"Oh gods," Eri remarked as she covered her mouth with her hands.
[Justiceistruth (Earth): Holy shit. You can see right through the hole in her chest.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): LORELIE! Is she still alive?]
[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Who did it, who attacked her?]
"She's still alive, she's just fallen unconscious," Revi informed them as she quickly checked her over.
"Spector?" Adam asked as he held his uniband over Lorelie before a beam of light emerged and began to scan Lorelie's body.
"Phoenix Empress Revi is correct; however, she is still in a life-threatening condition and needs immediate medical attention," Spector announced.
"How long till you can jump back?" Adam asked.
"Twenty-three hours, seven minutes, twelve seconds," Spector replied.
"Damn!" Adam cursed before looking at Revi and saying, "She's still in a life-threatening condition; we need to get her to a hospital."
"Right, let's go," Revi replied as her wings spread out behind her back and she shot up into the sky while carrying Lorelie in her arms.
"Tephe!" Adam called as he turned to her.
Tephe nodded in understanding before she leapt up into the air and began to transform back into her true form, after which she reached down with her two front paws.
Adam reached out and took Emma in a princess carry, causing her to yelp in surprise before he leapt up onto one of Tephe's paws, followed by Eri.
Tephe gave her wings a mighty flap. She quickly followed after Revi while Maya sat on her head and Elemence spread her own wings before following them.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we bring you breaking news from Fenix Nest, where Diva Lorelie has just suffered from an attempted assassination and been rushed to hospital by Phoenix Empress Revi herself," Sinead Quintana announced, as several holographic screens showing images and videos of the injured Lorelie appeared behind her.
"As you can see from the screens behind me, many people witnessed and recorded the event before posting it on Xer-verse and other social media sites.
Diva Lorelie had just completed her performance at the festival being held on Fenix Nest to celebrate White Dragon Tephe's visit and was enjoying the festival with her mysterious boyfriend and friends when the attack suddenly took place.
At the time of her being flown to the hospital, it is reported on Xer-verse that she was still alive, but that she was in a life-threatening condition.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Drotas' boisterous laughter echoed around her office as she watched the USNN report with glee.
"They sure took their time, but they finally got the job done," she said happily as she leaned back in her office chair and pressed a key on her console's holographic keyboard
"Yes, boss?" The voice of Drotas' secretary suddenly asked.
"Get ready to send the document requesting open use of Lorelie's new genre music to the Universal Entertainment Authority," Drotas ordered.
"But they're just going to straight deny it, boss," the voice of Drotas' secretary replied in confusion.
"I take it you haven't seen the latest news?" Drotas asked before adding, "Someone has attempted to assassinate that traitor Lorelie."
"Wait, really?" The secretary asked in surprise and, after a few moments of silence, said, "My god!"
"Now get to it; I want the document sent as soon as Lorelie's confirmed dead," Drotas ordered before ending the call with her secretary and breaking out into raucous laughter once again.
"HAHAHAHAHA, SERVES YOU RIGHT FOR BEING SUCH A TRAITOROUS BITCH, HAHAHAHAHA!"
