"A... a 9000 attack God..." Chazz muttered, his shock beyond words. He tried to speak, but his voice was caught in his throat.
"So this... is a God?" Jaden Yuki was equally stunned by the sight.
"Slifer the Sky Dragon, attack Amazoness Empress!! Thunder Force!!"
You Feng waved his hand like a sovereign. Obeying its master, Slifer the Sky Dragon opened its massive, blood-red maws and unleashed a colossal wave of radiant energy directly at Amazoness Empress.
"Hahaha!!! You fell for it! That look of despair I showed just now was all an act! Even if it's a God, I will slay it today! Open face-down card: Monster Relief!!"
Tania burst into a distorted, manic laugh the moment Slifer launched its attack. Everyone except You Feng, who maintained his smile, was startled.
"What does she mean? She still plans to slay a God in this situation?" Bastion was stunned.
"But Egyptian Gods are unaffected by most Spells, Traps, and monster effects. What is she thinking?" Chazz frowned.
"No, her Trap Card is Monster Relief. Her target isn't Slifer the Sky Dragon," Alexis noted, her gaze sharpening.
"When an opponent declares an attack, I can return one monster on my field to the hand. If it was a monster from the Extra Deck, it returns there instead. After that, I can Special Summon a Level 4 monster from my hand!"
"Hahaha... I summon Amazoness Swordswoman!!"
With a grand sweep of her muscular arm, a tanned woman appeared on the field.
