Myles Garrison sensed the hesitation in the Foxmere right-back. He pressed high, his shadow looming over the defender.
As the defender tried to turn, Garrison poked the ball away. It fell to Ishaan Bhatt, who was already on the move. Bhatt drove into the box, drawing the keeper out. He didn't shoot; he unselfishly squared it to Reece Alden, who had a wide-open net.
Alden didn't miss. He tapped it in with his left foot.
Fweeeee!
[> "SIX!" <] Michael Harrison yelled. [> "The response is instant! Reece Alden makes it 1-6 in the eighty-second minute. Northcastle have completely snuffed out any hope of a Foxmere comeback." <]
[> "It took them exactly ninety seconds to score after conceding," <] Peter Walsh noted. [> "That is a championship response. They didn't let the frustration linger; they channeled it into the next attack." <]
