A month had passed since my last meeting with the representatives of the four kingdoms.
Once the tension surrounding that gathering subsided, my days settled back into a simple routine. In the mornings, Daisy and I usually went into the city to buy our daily necessities. We would then make time to visit Rania and the others, or stop by the Adventurers' Guild whenever we could.
After lunch, we returned to the Lake of the Gods.
I spent my afternoons in the workshop, brewing potions or crafting various pieces of equipment. Lately, Daisy had begun sitting beside me more often. At first, she merely watched, but now she asked permission to weigh ingredients, clean the tools, and record every change in the liquid's colour.
Naturally, I still didn't let her anywhere near the dangerous materials.
In the evenings, we gathered with Radhimar and the others for dinner. Such a life might have sounded dull for an adventurer, but after everything that had happened, the peace felt precious.
