Rover runs towards the village with Abby on his head, while Cadentus is already ahead of them.
'Damn Cadentus is already way ahead, well I guess I did tell him about the knight killing innocent villagers, but to think that my echo can think independently, I guess Yggdrasil power behave differently in this world huh' Rover thought as he compare how Yggdrasil power work in this world.
In Yggdrasil echoes behave likes other summoning magic entities, the difference is that they don't cost mana to call, the only way to get echoes is that you must defeat a monster or make them into an echo with their consent, most echoes he got was by defeating them or befriend them, but those were the low level one, while the high levels one he got was from quest.
Players can only get these echoes by completing the quest with achieving all side objectives, if they fail those objectives the echoes do not accept the players and leave but they will give other rewards like golds and items, but most players aim for the echoes themselves.
While sitting at the top of Rover head Abby decided to break the silence "Rover why do you think those knights earlier attacked the village? Do you think those knights were invading this country the village in?" She asked while putting her tiny hand under chin.
Rover who was thinking about Cadentus snap out of his thoughts "Well my guess is that they are probably preparing to invade the country by raiding the villages for their resources and making camps, but who knows" Rover gave his opinion on why those knights are raiding the village.
Abby nodded, if a country wanted to invade a different one they probably need a base or a camp near the border.
"Should we disguise ourselves, since we're going to attack a country knights, I don't want to get ourselves into trouble" Abby complains not wanting to get them into trouble.
Rover chuckled "we're already in trouble, but I guess keeping our identity a secret to a hostile country is not a bad idea"
"What kind of cover should we use?" Rover asked
Abby closed her eyes and thought for a second "how about a simple one like a cloak that hid our face to hostile individuals" She exclaimed with excitement.
"Sure, make it simple but make sure it looks cool" Rover agreed
"Roger, Roger, leave it to me" Abby said cheerfully
Rover came to a stop and closed his eyes "do your magic abster" He muttered calmly but there was a hint of excitement
Abby floats in front of Rover and puts her small arms in front of her and casts "Create greater item: Cloak of Faceless hero, Create greater item: Outfit of a wandering hero".
Immediately Rover got covered with light that changed his appearance.
Cloak of faceless hero A grey worn out cloak that hides the wearer's face only leaving the wearer's lower face but the wearers can hide their entire face if they wanted to, this cloak also has magic resistance. This cloak also has the ability to go invisibility anytime the wearers want.
Outfit of a wandering hero an outfit befitting of a hero, the color scheme of this outfit is mesh of black, grey and white, the wearers can change its color anytime they want. It has multiple pouches that have a space magic allowing the user to store a lot of items.
After the light disappeared Rover began to inspect his new outfit. Nodding with a satisfied sigh he took out an item out of his inventory, a gold necklace and put it on.
Seeing the necklace Abby eyes widened "are you sure, using that item?" Abby asked nervously.
"We don't know who we'll meet, better save than sorry" Rover grab the necklace and kiss it.
The necklace is a world item that Rover found in his early days, he found it by luck at a merchant npc who sold it for only a couple of gold coins. This necklace has an effect that saves the user when they are about to die and sends them back 24 hours into the past.
In Yggdrasil when the necklace is activated any progress that happens in 24 hours in the server would be rewind except for the user, making any progress thrown out of the window.
Rover immediately equipped it as a fail save in case he met someone stronger on the knight side.
Abby nodded "alright let's kick some knights shining ass"

Finally reaching the outskirts of the village, the smell of blood and ashes reaches Rover nose, he stops and observes the village, a lot of burning houses and bodies are laying on the ground, dead making Rover frown.
While Rover was still in the outskirts, Cadentus was already killing the invaders that dared to attack an innocent village.
"What are you guys doing, kill him already, I can die in this filthy village" A knight shouted while holding his right arm.
The knight that shouted the order is belius, the captain of the knight who was ordered to disguise themselves as the empire knights.
"I will ask again, which one of you cowards are the captain." Cadentus asked with a demanding voice that shook the ground.
Cadentus was fuming with rage when he saw what had happened to this village, as a former knight captain himself, seeing a knight who doesn't hesitate to strike an innocent life almost made him drowned in rage and kill every single one of them, but he had a duty to fulfill and that is to capture the captain that is leading these wretched knights.
Not hearing any answer from them, he immediately rushed toward the knight that was the furthest and swung his great sword.
"Wyvern slash"
He delivered a vertical slash that cut three knights with no resistance.
Belius couldn't believe his eyes, that knight- no that monster just cut down his men with such ease, it terrified him because that monster was looking for him.
Another knight name londes who was besides him could only bit his lips, londes thought that this mission was going to be an easy mission, first there was a boy who had fought belius to buy time for 2 girls to escape, at first he didn't take the boy seriously but after seeing the boy easily adapt to belius attack and injured him. He immediately ordered the other to gang up on the kid, it was such a shame because that kid probably has a talent.
He couldn't think much about the kid anymore because in front of him now is a towering knight with his great sword massacring the other knight, and is searching his unit captain that is belius.
While he is trying to come up with a plan, any plan, Cadentus was already on the move again, more and more knights fell to him with ease.
Belius seeing more of his men fall, made a quick dash toward the villagers who were about to be killed by them in the middle of the village, he was planning to take hostage, and his aim was kids because most people wouldn't want to risk the kids life, but to him they are nothing more than just a mere villagers.
As he got closer he stretched his arm to grab one of the kids, but too bad for him, cadentus already noticed him and sent 2 slash toward him, and it connected and cut belius arm and leg sending him tumbling to the ground.
"AHHH YOU BASTARD, MY ARM, MY LEG" belius screams his lungs out because of the pain.
Cadentus walk toward him with such a calm pace, he stood beside the cowering belius " To think that you would stoop so low, you don't deserve to be a knight or anything" He said with a cold and deep voice
Cadentus looks toward the terrified villagers and tearful children he bow his head a little " I apologize for making your children to witness this" Cadentus apologize sincerely.
"Cadentus have you found who is responsible for this" A voice calls out to him, recognizing the voice cadentus kneel "apologize for taking a long time my Lord, my suspect is that knight who is about to die is their captain" Cadentus apologize, he suspect belius is the captain because he always barks ups commands towards the other knight.
"I see, make sure he doesn't kick the bucket yet"
Hearing the command, Cadentus cast a healing spell, immediately belius tried to run, but Cadentus immediately knocked him out.
Seeing that Cadentus already hit a heavy blow to their morale, Rover thinks for a second, should he let them go or not,but seeing what they had done to the village, yeah no they are not going anywhere.
"I suggest that you should surrender now, but if you insist on fighting" Rover summons a sword and points it at them.
"I won't hold back"
As he said that a tremendous heavy pressure was felt, so heavy that most the knight couldn't even breathe as they held their breath by instinct.
After a couple of seconds that felt like a lifetime, one of the knights dropped his sword and put his arm in the air, it was londes "We surrender, I am londes, the vice captain" He said with a shaky breath.
" I see, so is it true that guy is your captain " Rover said as he looks toward the knocked out belius.
"Yes, he is"
Rover nodded and the sword in his hand disappeared along with the heavy pressure, some of the knights immediately fell on their back passed out and some were finally able to breathe.
"Cadentus seize their weapon and tie them up, if they try anything funny kill them" He said to Cadentus, and walked toward the villagers.
"Your wish is my command my Lord"
As he walks toward the villagers, he can see their faces were filled with relief, hope, and suspicion which is all reasonable, a stranger whose face they couldn't even see.
"I apologize for coming late, can I ask which one of you is the village chief, or anyone who's in charge?" Rover asked with a calmer and softer tone.
After a second a man in his 50 raised his arm "that would be me my lord" he quickly stood up and walked toward their savior
'Lord?'
"May I know why you saved our village and your name my Lord ?" The chief asked nervously, still cautious.
Hearing such a question Rover could only sigh, 'I guess this world is not like those happy fantasies where people save others without asking for anything' he shakes his head.
"My name is Rover and the reason why I saved this village was because a pair of sisters asked me to, enri and nemu emmot was it if I'm not wrong"
Hearing those 2 names brings relief towards the villagers.
"Lord-"
"Please drop the Lord thing, just call me Rover" Rover stop the village chief, to him getting called Lord was a bit too much for him.
"Then sir Rover would you like to go to my house to discuss your reward for saving our village"
"No that-" Stop before finishing his word, he knows that if he refuses the reward, the village chief would keep on insisting.
Instead of going back forth about him not wanting rewards and the village chief obligation he decided to just take a compromise, instead of monetary reward he would ask for information instead.
"Alright, we'll discuss my rewards at your house, but give me a minute I have something to tell my friend first"
Rover walked toward Cadentus who had tied the knight up, the knights were all quiet.
"My Lord" Cadentus kneel
"Got any information from them about their origin?" Rover asks while looking at the knight
"Unfortunately no my Lord, they keep their mouth tight"
Rover nodded slowly, thinking away to get them to talk but gives up halfway and decided to let cadentus to handle it "Do whatever you need to get them to talk, hell break their leg or arm, cut them, or kill them" He glare at the knight, making them felt dreadful and terrified of what their fate will be "But keep the captain and vice captain alive, maybe we could get some money if we offer then to this country rulers".
While he wants them dead Rover knows that they are more useful alive, and if they can turn these knights in they probably would pay for it.
Cadentus nodded "I understand my Lord" And turned toward the terrified knight.
Rover decided it was time to deal with his rewards from the village chief and walked toward him.
"Shall we discuss my rewards?"
The village chief nodded "follow me sir Rover"
As they walked toward the chief house Rover decided to help with cleaning and gathering the dead villagers. He summoned a pair of vitreum dancers and a couple of nimbus wraith.
He looks toward the pair of dancer "You two help the village gathering their dead and bring them to plaza" The dancer nodded and immediately went into action. he turn toward the nimbus "Can you heal the injured villagers for me that would be very helpful" He asked nicely toward the nimbus who were ecstatic to help their master.
"Sir Rover I thank you again for helping our village" He bows
"No need to bow chief, I'm just fulfilling my promise"
"Promise?"
"Anyway let's just go and discuss my reward" Rover patted the chief on their shoulder.

Anyway what do you guys think about the wuwa and cyberpunk collab, I think it's good 9.5/10 from me, the only reason I don't give it a 10 because I want kuro to keep on improving for the next collab, man wuwa eating good this year.
I got Lucy and of course the free Rebecca, trying to get Lucilla but I'm broke, so wish me luck on getting her early and win the 50/50.
Also I'm adding a student for Rover to teach in this world, I already have in mind who it is but you guys can give me some ideas.
