Chapter 24 - The Miracle of the Sun in Hostile Lands

The morning air on the outskirts of the Senju clan's territory was dense and heavy with silent tension. As he walked confidently toward the heart of a great clan's territory, Nie Brown Jr.—known simply as Nie among his own people—inevitably attracted the attention of the local civilians and shinobi stationed at the watch posts.

And for good reason. His attire bore no resemblance to the crude combat kabuto armor or lacquered plate armor worn by the warrior clans of the Warring States Period. Nie wore a strictly tailored black suit, impeccably cut. It was an exclusive design, directly inspired by the ceremonial robes of the First Vongola and refined over generations to reflect the absolute authority of the Famiglia's highest hierarchy. Its dark lapels and subtle details of European underworld nobility stood out as an elegant and dangerous anomaly amid the rustic wooden architecture of the Land of Fire.

Ignoring the curious stares and murmurs of the Senju guards flanking him, their hands close to their weapon hilts, Nie continued walking until he reached one of the clan's main residences, entering the medical wing without hesitation.

The atmosphere inside the room was gloomy and oppressive, saturated with the metallic smell of blood and the onset of rigor mortis. As he crossed the threshold, Nie examined the two Senju children lying on the futons with a clinically trained eye. Their injuries were extremely severe: deep cuts, lacerated organs, and almost completely depleted vitality. Any conventional doctor of that era would have lowered their head and declared that both children had barely a couple of hours left to live.

But Nie was no ordinary doctor; he embodied the indomitable vitality of the Vongola.

After completing his examination, he spoke.

"They're on the verge of death... but I can save them," Nie stated with absolute confidence, breaking the room's deathly silence.

Butsuma Senju, the clan patriarch, and his second son, a young Tobirama whose face was haggard with anguish, watched him with a mixture of desperation and deep distrust.

The only person present who showed determination and faith was Hashirama, who trusted Tsunayoshi's recommendation.

Without wasting a second, the Sun Guardian took a couple of steps back toward the center of the tatami. He bit his finger, opening a small wound. His hands moved with millimetric precision, bringing his palms together in a rapid and complex sequence of hand seals as golden chakra enveloped his fingertips.

Boar, Dog, Bird, Monkey, Ram...

"Kuchiyose no Jutsu!" Nie roared, slamming his palm against the wooden floor.

BOOM!

A dense cloud of white smoke covered the floor of the room, accompanied by a sudden commotion. Butsuma immediately tensed his muscles, preparing to leap at any threat. However, instead of a colossal beast or a wild monkey from the Sarutobi clan appearing—summoning creatures that, in those times, were absolute rarities and almost mythical jutsu, extremely uncommon among the warring clans—a small, chubby, ordinary sea turtle emerged clumsily from the smoke. It had tiny spikes on its shell and landed on the tatami with a thunderous yet anticlimactic plop.

Silence descended upon the room once more, but this time it was tinged with absolute disbelief.

Butsuma Senju furrowed his brow so deeply that the wrinkles on his forehead became pronounced. He looked with contempt at the tiny creature, small enough to fit in the palm of his hand, and then at Nie, thinking that the man was making a mockery of everyone present.

"And that... ridiculous little creature is supposed to be your summoning jutsu? I find your actions rather unbecoming of a doctor," the Senju patriarch asked, his voice trembling with restrained fury at what he considered a joke.

Nie, completely oblivious to the murderous tension emanating from the Senju leader, crossed his arms with a boastful, relaxed smile.

"Easy, man. Don't get so worked up," the Sun Guardian replied casually. "I'll hardly have to do anything myself. This little buddy here is the one who's going to do all the heavy lifting and perform the real medical magic."

Butsuma clenched his fists, just a second away from attacking the Guardian and cutting down the foreigner with the tip of his sword, but his desperation to save his two sons kept him rooted to the spot.

Ignoring the patriarch's doubts, Nie crouched down and picked up the chubby sea turtle, which was about the size of his palm. He examined its shell before turning toward those present with a sudden request.

"Hey... Do you have any clean water around here? I'm going to need quite a lot."

Before Butsuma could lose his patience and attack, Hashirama immediately stepped forward, his eyes shining with a spark of desperate hope.

"Y-Yes... We do!" Hashirama Senju replied quickly, slightly bowing his body. "How much water should I bring, sir?"

Nie flashed a smug smile. *The Young Master has a good and trustworthy friend,* Jr. thought, adjusting the cuffs of his impeccable black Vongola suit.

"Hmm... Enough. Estimate how much would be needed to fill a large bathtub, about three or four times the size of your two younger brothers combined. Hurry up, these little ones are running out of time!"

Minutes later, a large wooden tub filled with crystal-clear water had been prepared in the clan's inner courtyard. Nie approached carrying the turtle and casually tossed it into the container.

The precise moment the creature touched the water, it began expanding at a monstrous rate. The turtle grew to an enormous size, transforming into a massive armored beast that shattered the edges of the tub, causing a tremendous commotion that made the nearby guards and servants scream in panic.

Before Butsuma could even complain again, Nie gave an order in a loud voice.

"Hashirama, bring your brothers!" Nie commanded firmly, startling everyone present.

"Yes!" Hashirama Senju replied without hesitation, turning on his heel and running toward the mansion's interior.

Before he could take two steps, a cold hand closed firmly around his shoulder. Tobirama stopped him in his tracks, his brow furrowed and his gaze filled with disapproval.

"Where do you think you're going?" the white-haired boy snapped.

"I'm going to get our brothers, Tobirama. Let go of my shoulder."

"Are you completely insane?" his younger brother retorted, gritting his teeth and lowering his voice. "That guy you just brought here is more than suspicious. He makes a strange beast appear out of nowhere and acts as if nothing happened. We can't take that risk!"

"I trust him, Tobirama," Hashirama declared firmly, positioning himself in front of his younger brother without taking his eyes off him.

"How can you trust him? Do you even know where he came from?" Tobirama exclaimed.

Hashirama lost his patience for a moment. "We have to do something now, or our little brothers will die soon."

Tobirama stopped abruptly, studying his older brother's face. The urgency in the air was suffocating, but desperation had clouded the judgment of their father and the clan.

"Tell me something, Hashirama..." Tobirama murmured incredulously. "Do you really believe in that man?"

Hashirama looked him straight in the eyes, wearing an expression of seriousness rarely seen on his usually cheerful face.

"Honestly, brother, I don't trust him... but I trust the person who does," Hashirama replied with absolute conviction. "And I have to take responsibility. I'm the older brother. Dad has been completely disconnected from reality lately; his paranoia and grief have blinded him. I highly doubt he'll make a single sensible decision to save us all right now. So I'll bring them myself."

Without waiting for a reply, Hashirama broke free from his brother's grip with a determined movement and dashed down the wooden corridors, leaving Tobirama alone with his doubts as he glanced toward the courtyard, where the enormous armored beast was moving and letting out threatening roars.

The two injured brothers were quickly carried by Hashirama and Tobirama, who rushed through the corridors until they reached the inner courtyard. After carefully laying them down near Nie Brown Jr., the two young men waited with their hearts in their throats.

Nie, whose absolute calm contrasted sharply with the chaos around him, simply smiled confidently and crouched down to their level.

"Children, please, once you're in there, don't resist. Just let yourselves be bathed in the sunlight," he instructed in a gentle but firm voice before grabbing them and, without the slightest hesitation, throwing them directly into the open jaws of the gigantic aquatic beast.

"WHAT... WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" roared Butsuma Senju, completely losing his temper. His blood boiled, and, drawing his katana in a frantic motion, he lunged at Nie with the clear intention of decapitating him. "You just fed my children to your beast... It just swallowed them alive, you damned bastard!"

"Wait, wait! Don't get worked up, old man! Don't do anything stupid!" Nie exclaimed nonchalantly, extending one hand to stop the Senju clan leader's advance with a simple blocking gesture. He remained unmoved, despite the steel blade gleaming mere inches from his face. "Calm down. Just wait a second, and you'll see how they come out purified."

Beside himself, with bloodshot eyes and a racing pulse, Tobirama repeated Nie's last words in an incredulous murmur, on the verge of a mental breakdown as he processed the scene with revulsion.

"Purified... Yeah, right... As if the only way to get out of there were to be shat out..." the white-haired boy thought, feeling madness taking hold of the place.

Hashirama, for his part, had just witnessed with his own eyes how his little brothers had been devoured by the insides of the strange giant turtle. It felt as though the air had been ripped from his lungs. He held his breath and clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white, to the point of hurting himself. His mind was an absolute whirlwind of panic and doubt; every survival instinct screamed at him to intervene. And yet, deep within his heart, he held an unwavering, blind faith: he trusted his friend Tsunayoshi Sawada, trusted his friend's word, and trusted the strange healing power of the enigmatic Sun Guardian.

"Father, stop! Trust him for a moment!" Hashirama exclaimed, placing himself between Butsuma's sword and the Guardian.

The air in the Senju clan's inner courtyard froze completely.

Before the enraged clan leader, Butsuma Senju, could even use his katana or launch a suicidal attack against the beast, Nie Brown Junior stepped forward with complete composure. His face, relaxed until then, took on an imposing seriousness. His fingers swiftly formed a quick and complex sequence of hand seals for his special jutsu.

Fwooo!

An absurd, almost suffocating amount of chakra burst from Nie's palms. It wasn't the blue or translucent energy shinobi were accustomed to; it was a dense torrent of radiant golden light that illuminated the stunned faces of everyone present.

Without wasting a second, Nie leaped with feline agility and landed in a single bound on the armored creature's back. His hand, completely infused with that sacred golden energy, came down in a brutal, resounding strike directly against the center of its shell.

"Hmph!" Nie grunted.

BAM!

The impact echoed like a muffled thunderclap through the courtyard. The gigantic turtle let out a visceral roar that made the tiles on the nearby rooftops tremble. Before the completely astonished eyes of the guards, Tobirama, and Butsuma himself, the beast's abdominal mass began to glow from within with a warm, blinding light.

The radiance emanating from its body violently contracted, suddenly concentrating around its stomach. And there, unmistakable silhouettes, shifting slightly beneath the creature's translucent, glowing belly, became visible: the silhouettes of two children.

"What the hell...?" Butsuma managed to exclaim, his eyes wide open as he completely lost track of what he was witnessing.

Seconds later, with a wet sound and an almost grotesque expulsion from its rear, the creature strained and gently deposited two enormous oval structures onto the stone ground: two gigantic eggs with perfectly smooth surfaces that radiated a warm glow.

Immediately after this bizarre maneuver, the armored beast began shrinking at an astonishing rate. Its titanic bulk deflated within seconds until it returned to its tiny size, once again fitting comfortably in the palm of Nie's hand, before vanishing completely in a small puff of white smoke.

The silence that followed was absolute.

Butsuma Senju stood completely paralyzed in the middle of the courtyard. His sword was still raised, trembling slightly, and his gaze was lost between the dissipating smoke and the two enormous eggs on the ground. For one eternal second, the clan leader had genuinely believed that the beast had swallowed and digested his children, and that those things—the glowing shells—were all that remained of them.

Brown Jr. Nie calmly brushed his palms together, dusted a little dirt off his suit with a carefree smile, and turned to look at the young Senju, who was still standing a few meters away, utterly stunned.

"Well, it's time for you to carry your brothers again, Hashirama," Nie said casually, as though he had just performed a minor magic trick.

The young Senju snapped out of his deep stupor, shaking his head vigorously, his emotions running high. He immediately dashed after the Sun Guardian, stopping beside the two glowing shells, which were still radiating a comforting warmth.

Nie, displaying tremendous physical strength, bent down and carefully picked up both structures with his slender arms, holding them with the delicacy of someone carrying a fragile treasure.

Hashirama touched one of the eggs.

"They're... they're safe..." Hashirama murmured, a mixture of nervous hope and pure relief rising in his throat as he saw the recognizable silhouette of his brother inside the egg. He extended a trembling hand to touch the warm surface of one of the eggs.

"They're safe...!" Hashirama whispered, his voice breaking.

He turned on his heels, his face lighting up with an immense smile as overwhelming joy welled up in his chest. "Dad! Brother! They're okay! Both of my brothers are safe!"

A single tear, carrying all the tension he had been holding back, slid down his cheek. Hashirama quickly wiped his eyes with the back of his hand, trying to hide his tears and keep any more from falling, although the happiness in his eyes was impossible to conceal.

A few steps away, Tobirama stood completely motionless, processing the scene with his eyes wide open, unable to utter a word in response to what he had just witnessed.

Butsuma Senju, meanwhile, was still consumed by blind fury. Unable to hear his eldest son's words, and guided solely by his protective instincts and the desperation of his own rage, the clan patriarch stepped forward, his hand gripping the hilt of his sword, ready to launch a deadly attack against Nie.

"Wait, Dad! Look carefully!" Tobirama shouted, reacting in time to grab his father firmly by the arm and stop him in his tracks.

Butsuma stopped, frowning and ready to shake off his son's grip, but the urgency in his second son's voice made him hesitate.

"Look at the eggs..." Tobirama pointed out, indicating the two oval structures on the ground with his chin.

Before their eyes, the glow of the shells began to change in color, becoming translucent. Through their shining surfaces, the clear silhouettes of the two little boys gradually became visible, curled up and peaceful inside.

Butsuma held his breath. The fury on his face vanished all at once, replaced by utter astonishment as he finally understood what he was seeing.

Noticing the tension ease, Nie stepped in with a calm smile, straightening his suit.

"This is one of my secret techniques," the Sun Guardian explained casually. "Inside them, they will be completely healed of all kinds of serious injuries and ailments. Don't worry. Before long, they will break out of the shells themselves once they are completely healthy and ready to emerge."

Butsuma's legs gave way. The imposing and feared leader of the Senju clan, a man accustomed to war and suffering, fell to his knees against the cold stone of the courtyard. His body began to tremble slightly, overcome by a deep, overwhelming nostalgia mixed with a sense of relief he could not remember ever having felt before. Supporting himself with his hands on the ground, his voice broken and his eyes moist, he murmured:

"Thank you very much... I don't know who you are, but... thank you."

Nie looked at him with compassion, gently shaking his head as he crossed his arms.

"You don't owe all that gratitude to me," the Guardian replied modestly. "This is merely part of the power of the Vongola Family and our young lord... who decided to become friends with your son."

Butsuma blinked, confused by the term.

"Vongola...?" the leader repeated, his mind struggling to process the weight of that word.

Hashirama nodded vigorously as he approached the enormous protective eggs again, unwilling to move away from them. He turned toward his father and confirmed it with a smile.

"Let's go," Nie said to Hashirama. "We need to put these eggs somewhere safe and warm inside your quarters."

**Inside the room**

"M-My brothers are in there...?" Hashirama asked, his eyes wide open.

"That's right. Inside these shells lies the pure property of my Sun element, condensed at maximum intensity. It's such a concentrated regenerative energy that it practically rebuilds their tissues and organs from scratch."

"And when will they come out?" Butsuma asked, approaching with heavy steps, a calm expression etched across his face.

"When they're completely healed," Nie explained seriously. "As soon as they regain consciousness and their vital energy is fully restored, they will break the shells from the inside themselves. Given the severity of their injuries, I estimate that they will emerge from the eggs in exactly one month."

"One month...?" Hashirama murmured, looking at his father with excitement. "See, Dad! Mr. Nie saved them!"

Butsuma did not respond immediately. He watched the scene with a mixture of skepticism and caution. Ninja medicine had never witnessed anything like this, but the imposing prestige of the Vongola Famiglia weighed on his shoulders like a mountain.

As he accompanied Nie toward the exit of the compound, Butsuma stepped in front of the doorway, blocking his path with a grim look.

Nie stopped and offered him a calm smile.

"Is something wrong, Mr. Senju?"

Butsuma gritted his teeth, keeping one hand on the hilt of his katana.

"I'll trust you... for now. But if this is some kind of trick—"

Before he could finish his threat, Nie stepped forward, closing the distance until he was only a few inches from Butsuma's ear. The Sun Guardian's cheerful demeanor vanished in a millisecond, replaced by an aura of lethal pressure that sent a chill through the Senju leader's blood.

"We are the Vongola... You have no choice but to trust us," Nie whispered in an icy voice that made Butsuma's body shudder. "If you want to fight here and now, I will defend myself. And I assure you of one thing: I will take your life with me before I fall. And if I die on your territory, my clan will wipe your entire clan off the map before sunrise. So let me leave, have faith in my word, and don't bother thanking me when your sons emerge from those shells safe and sound."

Butsuma felt a shiver run down his spine. Unable to utter a word in the face of the Guardian's overwhelming certainty, he nodded slightly and stepped aside, clearing the way.

Minutes later, after a journey filled with silence and sidelong glances, the imposing figure of Nie Brown crossed the main gates of the Vongola Headquarters.

Exhaustion was evident in every one of his movements. His footsteps echoed heavily against the polished wooden floor until, at last, his eyes settled on the figure of his companion.

"Just to find you... finally, Visconti," Nie murmured in a faint voice, his shoulders sagging as he approached unsteadily, physically exhausted.

Visconti immediately intercepted him, extending his arms to support him before he lost his balance. Noticing the pallor and cold sweat covering the Guardian's forehead, the doctor raised an eyebrow in concern.

"Ugh... You look terrible," Visconti commented, holding him firmly as he guided him toward a nearby stretcher. "You used that healing technique with Gamma's summoning, didn't you?"

"Yes..." Nie replied with a trembling sigh, letting himself collapse heavily onto the stretcher. "Apparently, those children's internal injuries were devastating. They were on the verge of death. That technique absorbs and consumes every last drop of my chakra, but it's faster and more precise... I'm completely exhausted. I can't even move a single muscle in my body."

Visconti clicked his tongue with a hint of professional disapproval as he quickly began preparing medicinal infusions and compresses on the auxiliary desk.

"That's what happens when you expend ridiculous amounts of chakra without considering the consequences, you reckless idiot," Visconti retorted in a firm but calm tone, checking the signs of extreme fatigue in his colleague. "That technique leaves you completely drained. You need absolute rest and to replenish your reserves immediately. What are you going to do now in this condition?"

Nie closed his eyes for a moment, feeling as though his eyelids weighed a ton, and managed a faint, sarcastic smile.

"I'm going straight to sleep in my office... I don't even have the strength to take two more steps toward the main dormitories," he admitted, barely opening his eyes to look at him pleadingly. "Do me a favor... Carry me there."

Visconti sighed in resignation, shaking his head with a mixture of exasperation and brotherly loyalty before draping one of Nie's arms over his shoulders and carefully supporting his weight.

"All right, kid... Let's get you to bed before you collapse right here," Visconti replied, pushing open the office door as the atmosphere of Vongola Headquarters settled into a peaceful night of rest and recovery.

…

The following morning, Hashirama had arrived early at their meeting spot by the river to speak privately with Madara before Tsunayoshi arrived. He recounted, point by point, Brown's bizarre healing method and the summoning of the turtle that produced the incubating eggs.

Madara listened with a mixture of fascination and skepticism, much like Butsuma had. However, just like his rival, deep down he held a blind faith in the name of the Vongola Famiglia—or rather, in Tsunayoshi, in its legendary Guardians, and in the loyalty of little Tsunayoshi Sawada.

Shortly afterward, Tsuna and Nie appeared in the clearing.

"Hello, everyone!" Nie greeted them enthusiastically. "How's everything going around here?"

"Hello, Mr. Nie," Madara replied, stepping forward with his eyes fixed on the doctor. "Nie, Hashirama told me what happened, and you were incredible."

"I always have been," Nie added, winking at Hashirama. "In a month, you'll be able to talk to them normally again. Now, Madara... I believe it's your turn, right? Let's go."

Madara nodded silently and took the lead toward the Uchiha clan's domain, guiding the Sun Guardian along the hidden forest paths.

Back at the riverbank, Tsunayoshi and Hashirama watched their silhouettes disappear into the vegetation before returning to their training positions, trusting that the light of the Sun would work the same miracle in the heart of another friend.

Meanwhile, in the dimly lit central office of Vongola Headquarters, Timoteo was stamping his seal onto some documents when the mahogany door swung wide open. Visconti, the Cloud Guardian, strode in with a stern expression on his face.

"Timoteo... where is Nie?" Shadow asked without beating around the bush. "I need him to look into something at the training grounds."

Nono Vongola looked up, setting down his quill before leaning back in his chair. In a measured voice, he explained the situation: little Tsunayoshi's request, Nie's journey to heal Hashirama Senju's brothers, and his itinerary for today, which would take him to the Uchiha clan's lands.

Upon hearing this revelation, Shadow frowned deeply and clenched his fists at his sides, an icy aura emanating from him.

"Timoteo... this is extremely serious," Shadow warned in a tense voice. "I saw him yesterday, and he was exhausted. When Nie uses that massive healing technique with the summoning, he's left completely drained of his Sun Flame and energy. He literally ends up at the very limits of his strength. Sending him alone into Senju territory and now into Uchiha territory means that if they decide to betray him or kill him, he'll be defenseless and die on the spot."

Timoteo sighed heavily, recalling the report from the previous day.

"In the Senju clan, Butsuma himself nearly refused to believe him and wanted to attack him," Nono admitted. "Thank heavens the Senju leader had at least a shred of prudence and didn't strike first. Because I swear to you, Shadow... if Nie had died in that place, I would have personally gone and wiped the Senju clan off the face of the earth."

Visconti narrowed his eyes, correcting the leader in a sharp tone:

"Not you, boss... All of us would have reduced that clan to ashes."

…

Unaware of the tensions at the main headquarters, Nie arrived at the vast, heavily guarded territory of the Uchiha clan, guided by Madara.

Unlike the Senju's rough treatment, the reception within the Uchiha clan was quite different. The Vongola records—meticulously archived over centuries, documenting the culture, jutsu, and temperament of every shinobi group on the continent—described the Uchiha as a proud, reserved, and serious people, yet deeply empathetic toward the suffering of their own kin.

Madara guided the Sun Guardian to the main residence, where they were received by his father, Tajima Uchiha. When formally introduced to the Ninth Generation Vongola Sun Guardian, Tajima showed no hostility. On the contrary, his jet-black eyes revealed a spark of astonishment and reverential respect at meeting in person such a high-ranking figure from the legendary organization.

"It's an honor to welcome you to our lands, Nie-san," Tajima greeted him with a formal bow.

Without wasting any time, Tajima and Madara led the doctor to the inner room where Madara's younger brothers lay, gravely injured by ambushes during battles between clans.

Nie examined the children and nodded solemnly. Their condition was just as critical as that of Hashirama's brothers. Therefore, Nie repeated the previous day's procedure and performed the Gamma Summoning Technique. An enormous cloud of smoke revealed the mystical little sacred turtle known as Gamma.

Nie picked up Gamma and tossed it into the large water reservoir that supplied the medical compound. Upon contact with the water, and after receiving an immense surge of Nie's Sun Flame, Gamma began to grow. Nie had deliberately exposed the technique to so many Sharingan users that they could analyze it. After all, the Vongola possessed very comprehensive information on all the clans, thanks to the First and Second Vongola generations.

Gamma, the turtle, absorbed the water and expanded until it became an impressive behemoth. Under the watchful eyes of the Uchiha, Gamma gently swallowed the injured children, taking them into the cellular chamber inside its belly, where they entered a state of rest bathed in golden light.

Minutes later, the turtle expelled two large celestial shells, inside which the young Uchiha began recovering in a state of healing slumber. Having fulfilled its purpose, Gamma shrank back down and disappeared in a faint puff of vapor.

Madara, having been forewarned by Hashirama earlier that day, had explained the entire process to his father in advance. Tajima showed not the slightest trace of impulsiveness. Seeing the life-giving light emanating from the eggs where his sons now rested safely, the Uchiha leader bowed deeply before the man in the black suit.

"Mr. Nie..." Tajima said, his voice filled with sincere gratitude. "My eyes have witnessed a true miracle. As a father and as the leader of this clan, I owe you an immeasurable debt. Know that you will always be welcome in Uchiha territory."

Brown Nie Jr. controlled his breathing, concealing some of his exhaustion from the chakra depletion. He adjusted his collar and looked at Tajima with a mature expression.

"Take good care of your children, Mr. Uchiha... This favor is a one-time offer, and I won't perform it again. The favors granted by our young master are once-in-a-lifetime exceptions, so make the most of it. And if you'll allow me to offer some advice... abandon this state of war."

Tajima closed his eyes for a moment before responding with the solemnity befitting his lineage:

"We cannot simply abandon this state of war, Nie-san... War is our natural state of survival against our enemies. But I assure you that the Uchiha will never forget who extended a helping hand to us."

"I've said what I needed to say," Brown Nie Jr. replied with his usual carefree smile. "Anyway... bye."

Before setting off on his way back, Nie stopped beside Madara and placed a warm hand on his shoulder.

"Young Madara... please, keep looking after our little master Tsunayoshi."

Madara nodded silently, his gaze firm and full of respect, watching the imposing Sun Guardian stride away until his figure disappeared beyond the horizon of trees.

...

Hey guys, how are you? I'm Wissumi Wizaki. Ah, I wanted to tell you to excuse the delay. I'm sorry, an internship report caught up with me. Yes, it snuck up on me along with a few other things. Then I also had some emotional problems that always happen, but they were quite serious, guys. I want to say I'm going through a lot here with setting boundaries when it comes to dealing with ADHD. Eh, this chapter, at least just in case, 'boca crujiente' is mukbang as such, and I was going to say something like that, but I forgot. This is, there will be another chapter for next week. It's probably, yes, there is a chapter for next week, but at the very end of next week, and if I can't do it by the end of next week, it would be at the beginning of the week after that. Yes, guys, ah, I'm going to—because I edited as soon as possible today and apparently the editing wasn't that necessary and I posted this chapter. The good thing, the good thing, guys, is that I surpassed the chapter limit because in my previous fanfic, where I started with his girlfriend Yoshi, I had stayed stuck at chapter 23. Today we are on chapter 24, so that's progress. For me, that's progress. Long live the men! I'm going to reach 400. You'll see, you'll see. Now, but just in case, keep reading, guys, and thank you so much."
