Author's Note: From here on out I will stop using 1st Person narration, it just feels weird to me and it's completely outside what I'm used to writing like, since I write in the 3rd Person in my other novels.

Daphne's POV
Daphne was very talented, both the character and the one who had transmigrated over her body. They were talented in different aspects tough.
The original Daphne made use of her genetics as a member of the Frost family, which was the reason behind her large affinity with ice and snow, but in the future that Author Daphne had written about in her novel, she had thrown away all her talent in a foolish rivalry with her sister.
It was not that Daphne refused to work hard and relied solely on her talent. Not at all. It was quite the opposite, she worked really hard, too hard in fact.
Just like one could not think straight after several hours of studying or other forms of mental exertion, or how people who trained their bodies could not act in top condition after an intensive workout.
The original Daphne overworked herself in her younger years, the unhealthy obsession of matching her older sister, who possessed a higher-ranked profession and talent, ended up crippling her future by burning herself on the flames of her hard work.
But the transmigrated Daphne was different.
She worked smarter, not harder.
Daphne was not a 'Potential Man', like Marcus Blade was. However, it was undeniable that her potential had been wasted, and in the end she never reached her sister, did not win the heart of the one she loved, nor did she receive the acknowledgment of her icy mother, or so she thought.
But this new Daphne would reach that potential in order to survive this perilous world.
All the other motivations meant nothing to the new her. Knowing what came next was a burden. The future was not kind, and therefore every bit of power that she could use was needed.
Besides, her meta-knowledge was not restricted to the things she wrote in the novel, after all, she did not write everything that she had seen in her dreams, and there was information there that could be used to a great extent.
Information such as the details that were normally cut out in training arcs.
And with that information, in less than a year, she was finally able to complete the first step of her plan.

With these stats, she could finally try to forcefully Rank up to G+. Which was great considering that she only had a couple months.
She had just seen her Strength Stat rank up from G to G+ and was feeling relieved. She felt the strength she had just lost due to exhaustion coming back with extra force.
"You have ranked up your strenght."
A monotone voice was heard behind her.
Ayza was standing there, a few drops of sweat rolling down her impassive face.
As Daphne was about to answer affirmatively, Ayza spoke first.
"I did too."
As if to prove that she was right, she handed over an Appraiser.

That made sense.
Ever since Daphne started training, Ayza began joining her, but for what motive, she couldn't guess. Ayza's frozen expression betrayed not even a single hint of her thoughts, leaving Daphne completely lost.
Still, that was not bad. In canon, Ayza's greatest weakness was the fact that in her younger years she had no type of motivation to improve, only doing the bare minimum, and although their mother was able to use this to her advantage, it still left great damage to her strength.
However, now that Ayza was training much more intensely, she might be able to finally reach the EX Rank in the future.
Originally, Ayza had been SSS+ Rank after everything was over, even years after the end of the novel. But now, she might actually reach EX or at least EX- Rank.
If Daphne were able to cause a similar evolution in other characters, then what kind of force would she assemble?
A Liam that had reached EX+ Rank much earlier.
An Ayza that reached EX- Rank.
Even a Marcus Blade who fulfilled his full potential.
Her future would be secured.
'Stop daydreaming. Nothing of that will happen if I don't actually take action.'
"Big Sis?"
Ayza looked towards Daphne, who had called her, and in her monotonous voice responded.
"Yes?"
"Can you teach me somethings?"
Ayza stopped looking at Daphne's expression. It might be her eyes playing tricks on her, but were her eyes sparkling, and since when were they so cute?
She felt her frozen heart tremble in an unknown emotion.
"What. . . Do you want me to teach you?"
"Magecraft!"
Now that she had achieved the necessary stats to endure the process of forcibly ranking up, she just needed to learn a few things of magecraft to help in case things went south.
"Sure."
Ayza did not see anything wrong with teaching her younger sister, besides, something within her was pulling her towards being as close to her as possible.
As they started walking towards the Family's Library, they didn't notice a spider of ice that was perched in a frozen cobweb, watching the scene from above.
The spider seemed completely unharmed by the previously increased gravity, its pallid body completely intact.
When the two young girls left, it stayed for a few moments with its empty gaze directed at the exit.
Not long after, it slowly started dissipating into icy dust, as if it never existed.
*********
Far away from that room, right at the tallest point of the Frost Mansion, there was an office. It was known to be unusually cold even in the hottest summers.
Right now, only a single person is present in that room.
Yuki Frost.
She was the current head of the Frost family despite not sharing any blood ties with the former heads. Yuki had been an orphan when she awakened, and due to her ice-related profession that exuded great potential, she was adopted by the heads of that time.
Anyone that remembered those times would recall that the Frost Family's heads of that time had just lost their only child and were too old to conceive another, and so the thousand-year Frost bloodline ended, but they couldn't afford for the Frost family itself to be lost and made Yuki their new heir.
Due to their old age, they ended up dying when she was only fourteen, becoming once again orphaned, however, this time she was the head of an entire family.
Right at that age, she promised her hand in marriage to the youngest heir of a vassal family, since most heirs were ten to twenty years older than her, and she was eighteen she married and started working on creating an heir for the Frost family.
That was how Ayza and Daphne were born. As for why their father was absent, well, to the public it was well known that due to an affair that he held, their marriage ended.
Of course, for high society, it was well known how loyal the man was and how Yuki Frost had manipulated events to get rid of him now that she had what she needed.
Two heirs with great potential.
The original Frost lineage was gone, but she was going to make another. That was why there were two rather than just one, even if that meant double the nights with that man.
At first, it was simply a step for her goal, these two children were just tools for her.
However, Daphne's little smile and Ayza's cute awkwardness in every interaction melted her frozen heart.
Seeing her two daughters interact and train together through one of her Ice Summons, she couldn't help but smile slightly on her lonesome in her office.
Her mind went to the bet she had made with her daughter, Daphne.
"Will she be able to do it? She seems to want to force herself into ranking up, I should prepare some countermeasures."
Making up her mind, she went back to signing the documents in front of her.
"Hm? How Interesting."
Right in front of her was a letter from the Blade family with quite the message.
"The Blade Family's Council of Elders, along with the head of the vassal family, Forger, is interested in joining your Noble Blood Association."
The message was signed with both the Blade Emblem and Forger's, so it was authentic.
"I wonder what made those old fools finally let go of the Association's leg."

Author's Note: Another Chapter! And I indeed changed the way to narrate from the 1st Person to the 3rd, it just wasn't what I felt confortable with, surprisingly it only took trying to write as a female character in 1st Person.
