" Why?" Eren asked, muttering to himself.
But jonas chose to ignore him, He walked upto where vito was sitting.
" You're still working at that puny noodle shop."
" Yeah so what?"
" Why must you make this hard for me?, I let you study because nowadays it has become trend but this." Jonas pointed at his clothes,
" Look at you, I know you must be feeling pride earning few pennies but is it really so wrong to work under me?" Jonas sighed " If not for me then atleast think of your mother, what do you think she feels seeing her only son acting childish, wearing cheap clothes, eating garbage food and living in dirt."
Vito scoffed,
" That is what you think, She might feel different. But regardless, I'll do what I think is best for me."
" And you know better than me?, Better than your mother?" Jonas's voice became louder in anger,
Vito didn't say anything, he couldn't.
" Look at him." Jonas pointed his finger at eren, " He has no family, No relatives, no racial brethren and no money, and he's still here.what do you think that is?" Jonas asked in disgust, his question earned eren stares.
And almost all of them showed dispproval,
" Because he's a parasite, clinging to marco. Clinging to life. That's how the world works."
vito couldn't help but stare at his father in pure hatred,
" Is that what you want me to do?, To submit to you. Dream on."
Jonas stumped hard on the floor that shook the house a bit, attracting gazes from everywhere.
Marco who was quite far noticed the tension and immediately dove in to pacify,
Looking at expressions of everyone he really couldn't tell what was going on.
" Uncle Marco My apologies. I should take my leave." saying so vito left, slamming the door behind him.
" Yes mark, Apologies. We should leave." And just like vito, jonas walked out as well. Charlotte followed him and so did karen,
" Bye eren, maybe next time you can tell me about your brother." And with those words, karen left and room fell into silence.
Eren had no words while marco eyed him questions, he could only sign in defeat. Jonas's word had not much impression on him, Eren only saw him as another pest of the world to ignore.
" Party was amazing uncle marco." Cecilia's intention was to change the direction of mood.
" Yes, it was fantastic, especially this cake."
" I'm glad to hear that and Amelia, There is still lots of cake left. Take some for your father." Marco followed their will, he didn't wanted to make this awkward as well.
" Really??"
" Ofcourse." Amelia's eyes shone with greed, but Cecilia knocked her thoughts straight.
" Uncle it's not necessary and I'm really sorry my dad couldn't make it."
Marco swatted his hand in relaxed gesture with a smile saying,
" It's nature of his job, i understand that as well." Marco hesitated so Cecilia spoke,
" We should leave as well."
" You can stay the night, it's dangerous outside and even your father is not home."
But Cecilia shook her head with polite denial.
Marco knew she would reject it, She had same morals and same ethics as her father.
" Then atleast let eren accompy you home for safety." Marco looked at eren and gestured, before Amelia or Cecilia could deny that as well, Marco was gone.
" Let's go." Eren urged, Getting out of here felt inticing.
Everybody was leaving, so eren took the chance and left among them without much farewell and goodbyes.
Amelia and Cecilia followed him outside and then twins took the lead, Eren didn't knew where they lived anyway.
Leaving the open front yard of marco's house, eren was once again in maze of alleys. He followed Amelia who was swaying left and right with unsual enthusiasm even after attending the party.
' Where does she get all this energy?' He himself was genuinely exhausted, especially after talking with corleone family, bot that he talked much.
" Eren, Why didn't you talk back?" asked Amelia, turning her head back and glancing as eren with confused look.
Eren couldn't answer her, just like he couldn't answer karen.
" Don't you feel angry?"
Eren thought for a moment and smiled,
" I read a quote, If one can control the mind then one can avoid almost all the problems."
" wisdom from internet." Cecilia chuckled.
" And you held on to that, If emotions could be controlled that easily then world would be a paradise." Amelia walked backward as he wanted to look at Eren's reaction.
" True but desire flames the anger, passion, greed and even destruction. It could be all avoided if I would just sacrifice it." Eren thought of liam when he said it, His desire for revenge had dulled over time and it brought guilt but thoughts of causing harm other even unintentionally because of his selfishness made eren reathink his choice.
Eren had agonised over this, and at the end he chose to let life run its course. He didn't forget the revenge but he left it to destiny.
" We're here." Amelia notified eren who was lost in his thoughts, eren nodded with approval and waited as Amelia opened the door.
" What happened to your brother?" Eren felt surprised, it was Cecilia who asked him.
She hardly took interest in other's life, So this was unsual.
" Maybe next time." Saying so eren was about to leave,
But then Cecilia grabbed his hand.
" Oh sorry, I panicked and touched you." She apologised instantly and backed few more steps than she was standing originally.
" something wrong?"
Under his questioning gaze, Cecilia fidgeted with nervousness.
" I think you're suffering and i was hopping I could help, if you'd let me." She was sincere, but sudden thoughts were unsual.
Eren smiled in understanding,
" Marco must've put your upto this." It was bold assumption, if he was wrong then he'll upset Cecilia, one of his closest friend.
But she didn't answer back, her silence was answer and also the posion that ate her conscious with guilt.
" I-"
" It's okay, You don't have to hide it and feel bad about it." Eren cut her off, " He's psychiatrist and thinks like one."
Eren paused for a moment looking at darkness of cormer in sight then gazed back at her,
" But you don't have to do what he says, Just because you feel guilty."
Cecilia pursed her lips few times, she blinked in realisation then looked at eren with resolution in her eyes,
" Then tell me about you, I'm asking as your friend."
" Yes tell us, Eren." Amelia who didn't had any idea from where this conversation had origined joined her sister as well. Atleast her reason was clear, blind enthusiasm.
" Maybe next time." Eren was about to leave when he heard ringing sound,
Then dialed call was picked up,
' Hello.'
" Uncle it's me Amelia, We were hoping if eren could stay with us."
Marco didn't answer for a long time, eren knew there was an awfull lot of discussion behind the scene and then final answer came,
' Sure Amelia, if he's presense make you and your sister safe.'
And then other voice came,
' Eren I know you're listening, keep one thing clear. Behave yourself.'
" Okay." Eren saluted, only twin sister were here to see his gesture but his sincerity was conveyed.
' Good, and I want you home by breakfast Tommorow and that's an order.'
" Ok."
' Good night Amelia and Cecilia, and don't keep him awake too late.
If needed, knock him conscious.'
Amelia couldn't help but laugh at her words,
' I'm not joking, He hardly sleeps.'
" It's okay aunty, We'll sing him a lullaby." Jamsine chuckled on the other end.
And then she cut the line saying good night to eren.
Eren didn't knew what to say, Cecilia too shared his awkward thoughts.
" Ame, You shoud talk to me before calling." Cecilia grumbled, irritated by her sister's spontaneous stupidity.
" If you hadn't liked my idea then you would've stopped me." Amelia had smug look on her face, " But you didn't." And then she walked inside the house.
Cecilia and eren both were left speechless,
Both had same question.
' Since when did she becomes smart?'
" Eren come here, let me give you my father's pajamas." Amelia shouted from inside,
Eren sighed as he looked at Cecilia, in responce Cecilia just shook her head in defeat.
" Come on, I'll show you the room." Cecilia had accepted this as well, only eren was left awkward.
But he decide to follow them inside, the house was large just as much as marco's.
The hall was dimly lit but eren could see everything and he knew that house was mostly empty.
There was no extra in this home, such as decoration, fancy lights, unbelievably large television.
One glance would be enough to notice that this home was build over men's imagination, simple, practical and efficient.
Cecilia showed him the guest room, there was a bed and nothing else. Not even ceiling fan.
Eren was fine with it, Amelia gave him lose trouser and tshirt to go with it, but eren avoided wearing tshirt, he had habit to rip them apart involuntarily. He's horn were reason for such clumsyness.
" No tshirt, Besides I remove it before sleeping so it's fine." He said standing before the door with only trouser for clothing.
Amelia and Cecilia were taking glances to his crafted body.
Neither he was too bulky and not too lean, he was just right amount of muscular dude with sharpened abs, veiny hands and jawline. Also with unusually sexy face of God and to sharpen it even more, he had soft skin and crowning horns.

" Good night." Eren was about to close the door but Cecilia stopped him, her face flushed red.

Marco and jasmine tried their best, they wanted eren to open up as well. Eren had no reason to hide it but he did, for his own personal reasons and Marco didn't mind that.
But he often tried to sneak under Eren's defence by someone's help, like in this matter, Cecilia.
Eren spoiled his every attempt, even now eren had choice but this time he chose different.
" Not like there is anything to hide anyway." Said Amelia, turning around with flushed face.
" We should play truth or dare."
" Huh.."
" Sure."
Eren followed Amelia to hall, And Cecilia tumbled behind them unwillingly.
" but why the game?" panic was visible in her meek voice.
" Sister, In truth or dare you'll have opportunity to chose what you want to know."
" You moron, same could be said for him." her sister barely stopped her voice for becoming a shout.
" Yeah but you can avoid answering it and chose dare." Amelia really didn't take this seriously,
" It's the same for him, why don't you understand?"
It looked as if Amelia was having sadistic fun in teasing her sister despite being on the same team.
" Relax, it's about freedom. If he chose not to answer then so can we." Amelia motivated her sister with tap on the forehead, " Relax and go for it." The other half was said in unusual manner, what did she mean by that.
Eren sat down on the couch, letting them talk it out, he enjoyed watching them troubled, especially cecilia. She was always, upright and honest with nothing to hide but now when lurking danger became imminent, even she showed emotions that were mostly hidden under.
" Are you ready eren?" Asked Amelia with confidence, watching her made eren realise that he really had much to hide than this twin vampire sisters.
Was it really in his best interest to play with them?, But it was already too late to fall back.
Eren nodded,
" Wait." But then Amelia cried out, she didn't explain much and ran away. She also took her sister.
Eren couldn't tell of that was some sort of strategy or something else entirely but in few minutes they came back. And their arrival cleared out his doubt.
Now they were wearing similar black pajamas, They wanted to change that's all.
" Now we're ready."
" Let's make this a bit difficult." Said eren with mysterious smile, he leaned ahead and spoke, " Only ten round each."
" No, That's not fair."
" Yeah." Sisters weren't happy with his suggestion.
" From what I think, It's 1 v 2. Both of you combined get 20 questions while I only get 10. Don't talk about unfairness."
Amelia and Cecilia couldn't answer to that, he was right afterall. They were the one who wanted to know more about him.
" Fine but you've to answer with all honesty."
Eren shrugged it off as if that was obvious and only then Amelia sat down on the floor, her sister sat beside her.
This action politely forced eren to follow their game rule to sit on floor, eren complied and sat down before them.
It was not that eren didn't feel shy, he just acted it but he too felt embarrassed sitting half naked across two girls.
But eren held it in. Besides he hoped to end this fast as well.
" My turn first." Said Cecilia in rapid breaths, " What happened to your family?"
Eren chuckled to her bluntness and shook his head,
" Be specific, That's too broad of an question. There can be several minutes worth long answer to this."
Cecilia gritted her teeth,
" Then what happned to your brother?" She asked, fearing that she would upset him or that it would break her friendship.
" He died." Eren had an mirthless smile, but it looked no different than before.
" How?"
" Are we going 1 person all at once." he asked?," I mean now it should be my turn." Eren knew the game, and Cecilia had turned red in shame with her clumsyness.
" But.. but.."
" I answered your question, didn't I?" Eren purposely smiled this time,
Only now that Cecilia realised why eren had limited the game to only ten questions.
Like this she would get nothing and eren will have last laugh.
" You played me." Her eyes flared in flames of anger.
" I certainly did, I do feel betrayed that you decided to follow marco's guidance. This is revenge." eren smiled evil, not that he really held any grudge over it.
" What's wrong with it?, She just wanted to help you" Said Amelia, It was weird hearing her speak logical reason but nowadays along with her jolly nature, even her intelligence had grown. It was becoming normal.
" That's second question, And nothing is wrong with it but I didn't like it." Eren laughed, " you wouldn't like if I suddenly butt in your life as well."
Eren left Amelia glaring as well,
" My turn." Eren thought for a moment, pondering as to what he could ask, "To both of you, Why sudden interest in my life?"
Cecilia instantly shot the reply,
" That'll be two questions."
Eren didn't argue, he had already played much with their rules and had leveled initial advantage.
Amelia didn't think much with her answer,
"Because you're my friend and this is not sudden, We've known each other for almost a month but I couldn't ask because you always avoided talking about it." Her answer was flawless but precisely because that, she earned stares from Cecilia.
Eren nodded with satisfaction, she was still upfront with her words and that was genuine.
" I have same answer." Said Cecilia, averting her eyes from her sister onto eren.
" Come on sister, It's truth or dare. You can't lie."
Eren was glad that Amelia said it, he was about to let that go. Obviously there was no other answer to it than this anyway. Atleast that's what he thought.
Emotional bonding was always the answer, Friendship in this case.
But Cecilia only glared at her sister and didn't answer. When she didn't,
" It's because she has crush on you eren."
" Ame-"
" She also has your photos in her phone, hidden." Eren was left bewildered, that was last thing he imagined.
But Amelia and her large mouth, she enjoyed spilling the secret or maybe she was just teasing her sister and it was no truth to her words.
But upon seeing Cecilia's flushed face, eren had doubts
" Is this true?" He asked, he knew that he didn't hold such feeling to reciprocate but if she did then it's best if he cleared them out before they proceeded any further.
Cecilia didn't answer, her eyes trembled and breathing became uneven.
" She also mumbles your name in sleep." Said Amelia, not bothering to stop even at this stage. As if what she'd done wasn't enough yet.
" This was also the reason i had to stop you." Amelia spoke in joyous laugh.
Cecilia's lips trembled with every word Amelia spoke, her head spin in worry with what would happen.
" Don't...You... you'd no right say that." Cecilia jumped on her sister with tiny bit of anger and rage worth of frustration.
The girsl were rolling on the floor, Amelia defended herself but she didn't look worried. Cecilia had no malice, she was too kind.
Eren had really weird situation going on around him. First he met weird celebrity nolan, then he met monster who nearly ate him, then he met karen- The one he didn't wanted to even think about - and then this, the unthinkable proposal from unexpected person.
And he was sitting half naked as he watched two girls rolling on the floor, he sat there with confused look on his face.
" You had no right."
" I did it for you sister.. Aahh.." But Cecilia was already pulling her hair.
" I didn't ask for that."
Amelia broke free from her clutches and hid behind eren where Cecilia hesitated to reach,
" Don't think I haven't seen his pictures in your phone too." Said Cecilia, trying to avoid Eren's eyes.
"Hey-"
" And you were kissing him."
This time Amelia jumped on Cecilia, but she avoided jumped around couch and avoided her sister.
" When did you-"
" When you though I was sleeping.. haha moron." This time Cecilia hid behind eren, but unlike her Amelia didn't shy away.
She didn't mind the touch, and eren was awkwardly pressed between this sisters.
" Okay you two, Sit down." Said eren, But his words fell on deaf ears. Amelia and Cecilia spun around him, trying to catch each other on upper hand and eren was the only one who suffered the jerks.
And their fun and teasing wasn't coming to end so eren took matter in his hand, he just held both in each arms with first chance he got, without harming them, without making it seem inappropriate.
" Cool down."
They struggled, Atleast for a bit but his strength was proven much more than their own and after a while they just gave up.
" Now I'm gonna let you go and I hope you behave like mature adults." Eren slowly retracted his arm back, and following his instruction they stood obediently.
Eren avoided further getting close and slumped on the couch behind, And twin sisters followed his example. They sat beside him on each side, they were close to eren, very close.
Eren didn't knew where they were getting this much active and aggressive confidence but he didn't like it.
Sisters followed each other's movement, suggesting or competing with each other as they got even more close to eren. Now they were resting their head on eren's shoulder.
And eren couldn't stop them, they were young, childish with blooming emotion that they didn't even understood fully. How could he crush them heartlessy.
But he had to do it properly with precision, to not hurt them with his words.
" This will not work?"
" WHY?" both asked simultaneously with panic.
" Because you're young and I already have someone else." So much for not hurting them, he was brutal.
They simultaneously turned to look at his face, to check whether his words held any truth.
And eren held a mirthless smile over his face, and somehow he conviced them.
" Who's she?" Asked Cecilia, gritting her teeth in annoying. But more she felt troubled more she snuggled in eren's warmth.
" Well she's my girlfriend ,All what I am is because of her." Eren had pride as he said that.
" then where is she?, Why haven't I seen her yet?" Said Amelia poking on eren's face, staring daggers.
" Because she's not here." Eren was thinking wether he should explain about alena or not and decided not to. More he imagined, more he realised that his story would just appear fake.
Telling Elizabeth was one thing, beside he didn't had the chance in that matter as he was under the influence of aphrodisiac.
But right now was whole different situation.
" Where is she?" Asked Cecilia with love in her eyes in meek cute voice, for a moment even eren felt mesmerized.
" Very far."
" You're lying and you spent night with Emily just yesterday, If your girlfriend is real than you wouldn't have stayed the night." Said Cecilia, making her own assumptions.
She had an image in which eren was smart, good looking and most honest person. From the moment he met her, he didn't seem to lie and spoke true even when he denied talking about his own life.
Surely upright eren wouldn't cheat, such were her thoughs. Or maybe she was holding her last desperate stance. Afterall she knew eren was unconscious at that time.
Eren didn't knew how she reached such conclusion, but his claim was denied and he needed to show the proof.
" And since when do you wear the ring?" Amelia asked, going completely side track.
She grabbed eren's hand, intertwining with own and acted to inspect the ring.

And watching Amelia making moves on eren, burned the passion even in Cecilia. She didn't shy away as she also held his arm in her own.
" That's the ring my girlfriend gave me." Said eren, completely ignorance to their apparent competition for him.
And watching ring brought many memories, it was alena who gave it to him and then he lent it to Natalie who had gone to neutral continent.
But when the monster puked, this ring came out it's stomach. This worried him, unnerved him for what could've happened to Natalie, to ava and eva. And he had no way to check on them. Were they safe?

" Even emily seems more rich than us, Sister why would he pick us." Said cecilia with visible disappointment, forgetting for moment that she was the level headed on among two.
" So what?, we're close to him more than anyone." Said Amelia as she clutched eren even more tightly. For a moment she even forgot that they were fighting each other as well.
Eren didn't knew when this became Amelia and Cecilia vs Emily.
But this was getting more and more out of hand, now they were not competing anymore, contrary they were working together. What did they hoped with that teampup.
They were even getting closer physically which he didn't expected from any woman.
But he needed to stop this madness,
" She's my girlfriend as well, I mean emily." His words shook the twin sister to core, " I slept with her yesterday."
Knowing that his world could be misunderstood, eren further clarified, " we had sex."
Amelia and Cecilia finally seem to break, they released eren and backed away few seats. Their eyes finally showed defeat, up until now they unknowingly yet begrudgingly accepted everything, to move toward eren they compromised and accepted various wrongs but now, they finally reached their limits.
