Nora Scott put away her phone, intending to head out and catch up with that person.
However, she had just taken two steps when she heard a noise at the window. Turning back, she saw the window being pushed open and a slender figure leaping out. In the dim moonlight, Nora fixed her gaze and, sure enough, it was April Thomason.
"Why are you awake?" Nora asked in surprise.
"Were you scratching the wall?" April rubbed her ear as she walked over, "I was woken up by the noise."
Nora: "..."
She didn't wake up when they were fighting, but now she wakes up because of some scratching. This woman is something else.
"Did someone just walk by?" April raised an eyebrow and asked.
"Yeah."
Nora nodded calmly.
April asked again, "Are you going?"
Nora turned the question around, "Are you going?"
"Absolutely."
"Oh," Nora nodded slightly, then coolly said, "Then you go ahead."
April: "..."
Nora handed a tracking device and an earpiece to April, instructing, "Stay in touch."
