Hardy Rivers and Nora Scott are neighbors.
Nora Scott's Mechanism Villa is not far from Hardy Rivers' house. However, Nora rarely stays there, and Hardy is often away from home, so they seldom visit each other or meet. Nora hasn't met Mrs. Rivers either.
Upon receiving Hardy Rivers' invitation, Nora Scott went to his house the next day.
It wasn't to "acknowledge a godmother," but rather for the blueprint modeling matter that couldn't be explained well via video or phone, so it was better to talk face-to-face.
But when Mrs. Rivers heard she was coming, she went shopping early in the morning, bought a bunch of ingredients and snacks, and busied herself all morning making a lot of delicious food for her. Afterward, taking advantage of Nora having eaten her fill, she brought up the "acknowledging her as a goddaughter" thing, leaving Nora both amused and helpless, but she agreed with a smile.
