She didn't understand what they were discussing, and even if she did, they would never let her in on something this confidential.
So Aurelia tactfully stayed out of the way.
Seeing her come down, Ava Thompson, who had been waiting downstairs for a long time, ran over and said with a smile, "Aurelia, let's go to the base?"
"The base?" Aurelia froze for a second.
"Yeah." Ava said, "Grayson Quinn happens to have business at the base, so I asked him to take us along for a look. We'll just sit in the car and look around, we won't touch anything. It's fine. Do you want to go?"
"Yes!" Aurelia replied without even thinking.
The base… she'd wanted to see it for a long time, the place Mason Nightshade grew up… Come to think of it, she knew very little about Mason's childhood.
