Everyone exchanged looks. Their initial subconscious plan was indeed to demand justice from the Nie Family, because no matter how you looked at it, the Nie Family was the leader of the Ancient Families. If they spoke up, the others wouldn't dare go too far.
But with Beisitian stating it so openly, everyone suddenly realized just how foolish their subconscious thought was. No matter how you spun it, the Nie Family was an Ancient Family; how could they possibly advocate for them? At that point, it might be the Nie Family that ends up swallowing the most.
