Qin Xinyu and Tian Zhi continued doing what they were doing, completely ignoring Gu Haiqing. Gu Haiqing knew that if he wanted to talk to Beisitian alone, it depended on her willingness.
"Alright then," Beisitian said.
Tian Zhi looked at Beisitian, and upon seeing her nod at him, he got up and walked out. As he moved, Qin Xinyu followed.
They didn't want Beisitian to be alone with this person, not knowing his background, but since she said so, she must have her own plans.
As for personal safety, unless Gu Haiqing could incapacitate Beisitian with one move so she couldn't speak, he couldn't possibly pose a threat to her.
With only Gu Haiqing and Beisitian left in the room, Beisitian began, "Alright, speak."
Gu Haiqing pondered briefly, then asked, "I wonder how much Doctor Bei knows about the Hidden Families."
