Mu Ke drove out without telling Sheng Jiayu where they were going along the way. It wasn't until the car stopped at the police station that Sheng Jiayu looked over in surprise, "Why are we here?"
Mu Ke turned his head to look at her, hesitated for a moment, then spoke, "There are some things I think you should know."
Sheng Jiayu glanced at the man, who was obviously focused and serious, and was slightly taken aback. Mu Ke rarely looked like this. He was always confident and earnest, but now there was a trace of uncertainty in his eyes.
The two of them walked in, and soon someone greeted them, "Mr. Mu, Miss Sheng, this way please."
Someone led them to a conference room and sat them down. Soon, another person brought over a folder, "Mr. Mu, Miss Sheng, please have a look. Let me know if you need anything else."
Mu Ke pulled out a chair for Sheng Jiayu, let her sit down, then opened the folder, flipped through it, and handed it to Sheng Jiayu.
