Emerie's words snapped Old Mrs. Wilson back to reality, and she lightly tapped Emerie's arm in annoyance, "What nonsense are you talking? Aren't you coming back? Are you going to abandon your own mother?"
"It was you who abandoned me first, always favoring my brother," Emerie said, feeling extremely aggrieved.
"Nonsense, did we agree to your brother's terms?" Old Mrs. Wilson questioned.
Emerie thought for a moment, then smiled, wrapped her arms around Old Mrs. Wilson's arm, and pouted, "It's always Dad and Mom who love me. Once my brother got married, everything changed. He's someone else's husband now, not my brother anymore."
"Let's not talk about this," Old Mrs. Wilson was more concerned about another piece of news that left her dazed moments ago. "Is Benjamin eighty percent sure of securing the bid?"
"Yes, that's what Benjamin said," Emerie nodded with a smile, "Isn't my Benjamin amazing? I've heard that many companies are competing for it."
