Mason Bennett did not go with her and told Bella Green that he was going to meet a friend.
After dropping Bella off, the two parted ways.
At the café, Joanna Ramsey was already there.
The girl was wearing a pink wool dress, which made her small face look even more rosy and fair.
But the once round little face had now turned into an oval shape.
Bella Green looked at the girl, paused in her steps for a moment, then walked over.
"Joanna."
Hearing her voice, Joanna Ramsey looked up, eyes full of joy: "Bella, you're here! Sit down, I ordered your favorite coffee and dessert."
Bella Green sat down, looked at the dessert in front of her, and smiled.
"How come, always eating good food, yet getting thinner?"
As she spoke, she raised her hand to pinch the girl's cheek, and the feel of it made her a bit unaccustomed.
The formerly plump touch was no longer there.
