He didn't say anything to Bella Green, walking the bird was just a form of human enjoyment, not the bird's.
As he spoke, he raised his hand and opened the cage. The bird instantly perked up and darted out of the cage.
It flapped several times in the air and then flew away as if celebrating.
Bella Green was startled, "Why did you let it out?"
Once it's out, it's hard to catch.
However, Grandpa Lawrence didn't mind at all, chuckling, "Didn't you say that keeping it in a cage isn't walking the bird?"
Bella Green slightly stuck out her tongue, not expecting that because of her words, Grandpa Lawrence would actually release the bird?
That bird must be worth quite a bit, right?
Now that it's free, it might not be caught back.
As if confirming Bella Green's thoughts, the bird circled above the two for a while, then flew far away.
In no time at all, it was out of sight.
Bella Green immediately panicked, pointing at the sky.
"It's gone!"
