"Help with Jean?" Wanda asked confused. She knew who Jean was but how could she help her? Was she injured? Did they want her to use her powers to heal her?
Before Kakashi or anyone else could reply to her, the Avengers were looking at Kakashi in shock and in panic, especially Tony and Bruce.
Kakashi had just said that he could bring the mutants to their universe permanently and that set alarm bells ringing in their heads.
"Wait wait… hold on Kakashi. I know that you are a man of many miracles. But we can't just bring them to our universe. Did you forget our mission is to stop the Incursion and not fucking cause it?" Tony said in panic.
Bruce added in similar panic, "By taking them there we would be messing with the two realities and in enough time the barriers between the universes would collapse and the Incursion would start."
Erik asked, "Then how come you coming to our universe did not do anything?"
Tony added, "Some mystic bald lady did some voodoo magic and we appeared here. But even she said that the barriers between the realities would weaken the longer we stay here. In fact, the barriers would have weakened when we came here."
Wanda mumbled, "That explains the weakening of barriers recently."
"And that means even us staying here is risking an Incursion. If you move there permanently that would be disastrous," Tony said.
Kakashi looked at Tony with an eye smile. "Well well, look at you. Talking about Incursion like I did not tell you all that at first."
His face turned serious. "But anyways, I might have a way to prevent it. It's fifty-fifty. But it might work. It would require specific circumstances to work but we can figure it out. But before all of that, We need to deal with Jean."
The truth be told Kakashi was a shinobi and he did not care much about his world. Yes he did care about some of the X men espressially Pietro but that was it. So then why was he looked to stop Jean?
Well, if Jean came after them there was no way, they could safely go back to their universe and they definitely did not want her to follow them to their universe.
Wanda said, "I will take my chances as long as my kids are not harmed. I will help you with your Jeans situation."
Erik added in hope, "Does that mean other mutants can come too?"
"Not many I am afraid," Kakashi said.
Erik thought for some time but did not reply. He was debating whether should be save only his brotherhood or the entire population of mutants. If he chose the first then Kakashi was his way but if he chose the later, he would have to continue to look for a way in their world so that all the mutants could live peacefully. Something he did not think would happen.
Wanda asked, "So what's this situation with Jean? Is she not one of the X-Men?"
"Jean has gone berserk. And she is out to get the professor. She is currently incapacitated but she is a lot more stronger and angrier than before," Bobby said.
Charles added, "I don't think that she is going to stop at killing me."
Everyone turned to look at him because everyone had seen the hate that the new Jean had for Charles and how she was hell bent on killing him.
He spoke gravely. "Yes she wants to kill me and she would do that first. But whatever she is, whatever the power she has won't stop at that. There is a reason that I sealed her memories and her powers in her mind. Her power is growing and I have no doubt about it that if we don't stop her, she is going to destroy the world. The only thing we could do that is to bring Jean to her senses."
"Destroy the world, Jean would not do that. Never," Scott said as the X-Men argued over it.
"Jean is one of us. She has always fought for what is right. She has saved lives. She has been there for every single one of us when we needed her. This is not her. This is whatever Professor locked away. We cannot treat her like a monster. We have to reach her. Talk to her. Remind her who she is."
Kakashi thought,'Why did that sound like Naruto?'
Ororo nodded but her face showed worry. "Scott is right. Jean has a good heart. She would never choose to hurt innocent people. But I have felt her power growing. If we do not help her control it, she might not be able to stop herself. We have seen what happens when power overwhelms someone. We cannot let that happen to her."
Bobby looked uncomfortable. "But what if she really loses control? We saw what she did to Apocalypse. One stray blast and he turned to ash. If she gets even stronger, what happens to the school? To the kids? To the whole world? I want to save Jean too, but we cannot pretend this is not dangerous."
The argument continued. Kurt spoke softly. "Jean has always been kind to me. She helped me feel like I belonged. I do not want to fight her. But if she is hurting, we must help her. Not attack her."
Kakashi though turned them out, he was still tired from the chakra exhaustion. He needed the rest for when Jean came to them.
