Chapter 122 - Bone Manipulation

This new ability… Miraluz could feel its potential pulsing inside him the moment he absorbed it.

Bone Manipulation.

A power that allowed complete control over one's skeletal structure, offensively or defensively, shaping bones into weapons, armor, or constructs.

The Supreme Skeleton Lizard had wielded it like a living arsenal.

Miraluz nodded once.

"Extract."

A surge of energy rippled through his body as the Titan gene fused into his genetic web.

[Bone Manipulation — Level 1 (0/100,000)]

He flexed his claws, feeling the faint sting of bones shifting beneath his skin.

Primitive for now, but promising.

The ground around him was still shaking.

Massive cracks spread across the ruined battlefield, torn open by the earlier Earthquake Wave.

Had he not deliberately restrained the blast radius to one kilometer, the main battlefield would've been obliterated.

Even so, the tremors reached the distant dinosaur lines enough to alert everyone to what had happened.

And they saw it.

Scythe-Bone King's broken corpse.

Their king, dead.

The surviving skeleton lizards froze. A collective shiver of terror ran through the swarm.

Then, panic overtook them.

The entire group broke formation, shrieking in fear as they sprinted to flee deeper into the wasteland.

Grey reacted instantly.

"CHASE THEM!"

He roared, launching himself forward with the ferocity of a meteor.

King Kong bellowed and charged, followed by waves of dinosaurs.

Stegosaurus formations, Spinosaurus herds, agile raptors, and grounded Quetzalcoatlus all surged together, hunting the scattered skeleton lizards mercilessly.

The enemy forces crumbled.

The battle dragged on until the sun dipped below the blood-red horizon, and darkness settled over the valley like a heavy blanket.

One by one, the roars and hisses faded.

When silence finally returned, almost every Skeleton Monitor Lizard in the main nest had been slaughtered.

Only a few escaped.

Just as Miraluz intended.

"Extermination is wasteful. If I kill every last one… then there is nothing left to harvest later. Better to let a few survive and rebuild their numbers. When they grow strong again, I will harvest them again."

A pragmatic strategy. Cruel, perhaps, but nature was cruel first.

King Kong, drenched in blood and mud, slammed his fists against his chest with a triumphant roar that echoed through the cracked valley.

"ROAAARRR!"

The apes that once lived on his Skull Island were nearly annihilated by skeleton lizards.

Today's victory was more than a battle, it was vengeance carved in bone.

King Kong had personally crushed more than ten red-backed Skeleton Monitors.

Dozens more had fallen to his fists and fury.

For him, it wasn't enough to win; he wanted to bury the hatred of his fallen kin.

Nearby, dinosaurs worked tirelessly to clean the battlefield.

They dragged corpses, extracted Titan blood essence, and piled bones for later use.

The air stank of iron and dust, but morale was high.

Today was a triumph.

The blood essence harvest alone exceeded the sum of the last three months.

Even one drop of Alpha-level Titan essence from the Scythe-Bone King was worth more than ten portions of ordinary Titan blood.

Soon, Rexy the Tyrannosaurus Rex and commander of the ground forces, approached Miraluz.

Her body was battered, bones visible beneath torn muscle.

Even so, she stood tall and proud.

"Dragon God," Rexy said, her tone steady despite her injuries.

"All units have reported in. Fifty dinosaurs killed, over two hundred wounded. Estimated skeleton lizard casualties: more than five hundred. We recovered one Alpha Titan blood essence and thirty-five regular Titan blood essences."

Miraluz nodded slowly.

The losses were heavy, heavier even than the last MUTO battle. But development always demanded sacrifice.

"You fought well, Rexy," he said.

"And you are severely injured. Take this."

He lifted the large glowing container containing the Alpha Titan essence.

Rexy's eyes widened.

"For… me?"

"Use it to evolve. You've earned it, and the Alliance needs stronger leaders."

She lowered her head in gratitude.

Miraluz didn't stop there.

He distributed every portion of regular Titan blood essence among the most valiant fighters and the most wounded.

The giant Spinosaurus, Giganotosaurus, Therizinosaurus, and the grounded Quetzalcoatlus leaders all received generous shares.

Loyalty was rewarded. Bravery was never ignored.

By late night, the Jurassic Alliance finished securing the battlefield and marched back to the base, victorious but exhausted.

Three Days Later

Rexy isolated herself for three days as she absorbed the Alpha Titan essence.

The energy was violent, chaotic, enough to tear apart an unworthy vessel.

But Rexy endured.

On the morning of the third day, a thunderous roar ripped across the valley, shaking dust from cliffs.

Miraluz flew out from his resting chamber at once.

What emerged from the evolution chamber was no longer just a Tyrannosaurus Rex.

It was a Titan.

Rexy's body length had grown to over 50 meters, her height towering beyond 30 meters at the hips.

Hardened, interlocking scales covered her from snout to tail, and razor-like spines lined her back.

Her exposed bone structures reinforced her entire frame, giving her a terrifying presence.

Her muscles bulged, pulsing with nuclear-charged energy.

And when she opened her jaws,

Rows of massive, banana-shaped teeth gleamed like polished blades.

A viscous, corrosive black-red saliva dripped out, sizzling when it hit the ground.

Even her jaw structure had changed, more flexible, more deadly.

A predator built to kill Titans.

Deep inside her chest, a faint red glow pulsed rhythmically.

She had grown an internal atomic reactor.

Though she could not unleash atomic breath like Gray, she exhaled a thick, black-red plasma flame, hot enough to melt steel.

She stomped forward, the ground trembling beneath her new weight.

"Dragon God."

Her voice was deeper, thunderous.

"I have evolved."

Miraluz nodded, satisfaction flickering in his eyes.
