While writing, I realized I have included many characters, so I thought it would be helpful to provide a quick reference list of all the major players introduced so far.
The Throne Family
Lorian Throne / Adrian Sterling: Our Protagonist. Adrian Sterling, a self-made entrepreneur, died and was reborn as Lorian Throne, the scion of the ruling family of the City-State of Veridia.
Lord Elmsworth Throne (Deceased): Lorian's father, assassinated in his own court.
Lady Seraphina Throne: Lorian's mother.
Cassian Throne (Deceased): Cousin of Lord Elmsworth and the main conspirator behind the coup in Veridia.
Lyssian Throne: Son of Cassian and Elina, and Lorian's cousin. Once a vicious bully, he has returned after his father's death; he is now aloof and seeks only Lorian's help to avenge his father.
Elina Redhair: Captain of Redhair Pirates, wife of Cassian Throne and mother of Lyssian Throne
Vitrion Throne (Deceased): Father of Elmsworth and former Lord of Veridia.
Gwarion Throne (Deceased): Brother of Vitrion and father of Cassian. He was secretly assassinated by Anol Strong on Vitrion's orders.
Adar Throne (Deceased): Father of Vitrion and Gwarion, and former ruler of Veridia.

Elara Monez (Chief of the Prince's Household): Lorian's personal maid who stood by him even during his "idiot era." Though Lorian sees her as an elder sister, she remains fiercely devoted to her Lord.
Jax Nightclaw, son of Shaira Nightclaw: A Black Panther beastman rescued by Lorian from slavery; he is now a fiercely loyal guardian.
Zara Sunstreak, daughter of Zira Sunstreak: A Leopard beastwoman also rescued from slavers by Lorian.
Kaelen Strong: A duty-bound young knight and grandson of Anol Strong. He is idealistic and naive but follows Lorian's every command without hesitation.
Eldred Alsnow: Lorian's tutor. Wise and book-smart, but lacks practical world experience.
Rylan Fartom: Son of Gravil Fartom. He possesses a sharp mind and strong knowledge in finance and analysis.
Grisel Gabon: Owner of the 'Whispering Door' inn. Street-smart and connected to the underworld, he now serves as Lorian's intelligence officer.
Chopman: Head of the Butlers at Auric Spire.
Linnea Arden: Head of the Maids at Auric Spire.
