There wasn't anything left for them to do since the guards had already taken care of everything.
With the culprit in custody and the possible victim placed in protection, that was all that had to be done.
Which was why I brought the subordinates back to our office.
None of them said anything as I led the way and there were quite a few of them that looked away from me. It was as if they were afraid of catching my attention with how they tried to remain out of sight.
But I didn't bother with them yet.
This wasn't the place for it, there was a special place for this ceremony to be held.
When we arrived back at the office, there were those that moved to their desks to collect their stuff.
It wasn't that they were clearing out their desks, it was that they were trying to escape from this place as soon as possible. They didn't know what I had planned for them, but they knew that it wouldn't be anything good.
