The officials were already familiar with Seraphina and Sophia. Many of the officials who were stationed far away and weren't yet aware of the Lord's return wondered about the identities of the three women with them. Each of them radiated the presence of someone accustomed to authority.
Seraphina and Sophia led Eleanore, Udara, and Zora to the prepared seats by the Lord and Vice-Lord thrones at the head of the hall.
Afterwards, the twins sat down on their Vice-Lord seats, which flanked the Lord's seat on both sides.
With the two Vice-Lords seated, many expected the court meeting to kick off. However, to their surprise, the Vice-Lords merely sat without a word—as if they were waiting for something.
Or rather, someone.
The officials who hadn't yet been informed of the Lord's return looked around in confusion, while those who were aware held their tongues.
