The ground had been covered with corpses.
The cries of children.
The desperate screams of soldiers.
The roars of the Ututh.
The collapse of walls.
Everything had blended into a single nightmare.
Yet now...
Nothing remained.
The countless Ututh that had surrounded the kingdom.
The endless black tide that had stretched beyond the horizon.
The monsters that had slaughtered countless kingdoms and races.
Every single one of them...had disappeared.
Not defeated.
Not annihilated.
Not reduced to ashes.
They had simply...ceased to exist.
It was as though reality itself had erased the very concept of their existence.
No corpses remained.
No blood.
No mana.
No traces.
Nothing.
The battlefield became eerily quiet.
The surviving soldiers slowly lowered their trembling weapons.
